Irina is a delight! 💗 A real Hidden Gem We came here on a whim as me and my partner were hungry, and were immediately welcomed by Irina and a gorgeous green interior. The atmosphere was so inviting and calm, perfect for an afternoon lunch which is what we had, and I’d imagine even better for a cozy dinner. She was so attentive and soft spoken, there was no rush, and the entire place in general was so relaxing. It was such a personal experience, a type of place where you forget you’re just another customer. The food was spectacular, we ate from both the lunch and breakfast menu. Expertly cooked dishes, paired with an equally tasteful and modern ambience. I had the prawn pasta; this simple dish was not over-complicated and cooked to absolute perfection with perfectly al-dente pasta in a faultless alio e oilo emulsion.

Their all-day brunch was also delicious, simple, short menu and executed beautifully. I opted for a classic Eggs Benedict - the Hollandaise tasted fresh (and not too citrusy, as many less fresh Hollandaise are). The eggs were runny and orange, and the chives and basil oil are a nice touch.

Their juices are freshly squeezed and also very affordable, highly recommend.

If I could give this place 10 stars I would. I love good coffee and this place has become my daily haunt.

It is a lovey little community and space of calm in a very hectic part of the world. If you are looking for a place where the servers remember your order and your name this place is for you. I have tried most of the cafes in Angel and Islington and this is the place I keep coming back to.
