It was my first time at this place and first I need to say that I ordered a tamarindo and jamaica juice, to what they served me horchata instead of jamaica, I asked for an exchange because I understood that they misunderstood what I said as the music was too high, then, the lady so served me at the counter she came to tell me that I ordered a horchata juice, which I explained to her that I didn’t because I don’t like horchata, and she looked at me in a derogatory way. Second, being a person who have ate tacos in other places in London, and have been in Mexico trying tacos from scratch with all the flavour that they have, I can say that my tacos were truly below what I expected. The tortillas are made with yellow HARINA P.A.N, to what my opinion it is not of what tortillas are made of, they can use different one to bring the authentic flavour of corn in their tortillas. Read moreThis is easily one of the most authentic mexican taco spots I've ever visited outside of the Americas! Definitely one of the best in London if not THE best!!
The entire food court is tucked away at the back of a little laneway full of African textiles and a few hairdressers, always a good sign..
Manny the boss man welcomes you with the utmost of hospitality and service to match. The menu has all the OG classics that are a give away of a proper mexican run spot (carnitas, tongue and horchata!).
All the tacos are made from freshly ground corn masa and pressed on site. The salsas are homemade and the guac' is fresh and delicious.
Bring your mates and help support an amazing authentic local business.
Big up Manny and the whole crew of mummas running back of house. I wish you all the...

Flavours are popping and tangy. The taco is corn, hand pressed and grilled to order. 3 different kinds of salsas are made fresh. They are constantly cooking down more meat. A side of guacamole also goes with your taco order.
The Carnitas was my favourite, juicy and full of flavour. The tongue was delicious and tender. The birria was slightly smoky and dripping down my hand, probably my least favourite of the 3 I had, but still solid.
Feels real authentic. Everyone in the open kitchen is Mexican and prepping each part of the meal. I was lucky to meet the big boss who was full of excitement and energy.
Enjoy the surroundings of Peckham rye market as you devour this finger lickin meal. 🫶...
