Was in the area so dropped in for a coffee & pastry. I had an Americano, was good and served in a pretty cool glass cup. The pastries are good too. I had a pain au chocolat, they have 'real' ones, not the bready ones you get in some places.

The staff member working there was very polite and friendly. I even got an Australian Indie music recommendation (Spacey Jane) and some tips on finding new music. I noticed the staff asked everyone how they were when they came in.

Also noted that nearly all the customers were friendly and chatty, seems like a really good local spot.

What a lovely and tranquil place to stop by for a coffee and a bite to eat in between running errands in busy Dalston! The owners and staff who run it are friendly and warm to everyone who comes through the door. My young baby daughter loves napping in her pram while I have a drink while my toddler likes to have a drink of milk and a croissant. It is a cute little place that smells nice and tastes nice. As read in other reviews, a truly hidden gem in Dalston. Although the cafe is small, it's very cosy and luminous. It has the ideal atmosphere for reading, studying, working or chatting with friends. I didn't order coffee but tea and it was served nicely 😊 I loved that detail! The carrot cake was yummy, very soft and fresh. I paid £6.8 for the tea and carrot cake.
