If I could put 0 stars, I would.
For someone who has worked in the hospitality industry for 12years+ and a manager for 6, this has got to be the worst experience I have ever received to the point I’m having to write this review.
Not only did a friend and I have to wait about 25 mins for our order I was also verbally attack regarding my sexuality as a gay man.
Whilst celebrating we had decided to grab some boneless wings from wingstop in Dalston. After we had finished our beers we had asked where our order was and was told by Zara that she had given it away to someone else.
After expressing that we had not received it, Zara instantly got defensive and highly passive aggressive towards us. 2 minutes after she had given us what we ordered but we declined and had then requested a refund for the order. The way that she snatched the bag out of my hand you would think she was going to jump over and hit me.
Also, one of the kitchen staff started to raise their voice at me and calling me a batty man because of the way that I was dressed as he was giving very evil looks directly to us as if he wasn’t well or had escaped from the mental health ward.
I had gone back in there to speak with the manager the next morning and Zara was again aggressive toward me, shouting at me and going around to all her other colleagues lying that we had eaten the food at the table we was drinking our beers at and referring to me as a nightmare customer because I was able to stand up for myself.
I been going here for some time now, the service has changed from about 1-2 years ago and now it’s just not a safe place to be at.
The so called ‘manager’ TJ had said that he would check cctv regarding what happened.
I do not appreciate being lied on or going somewhere they have this type of staff. A good business being ruined by ungrateful and shallow...
Read moreI've been meaning to visit/order from Wingstop for some time now, having seen that all their chicken is Halal. What would have been a waste of a trip to Dalston (which I would not ordinarily visit), actually turned out to be a great opener to Wingstop. It's situated along the High Street, with neighbours such as Pizza Union and Tortilla - really nice to see the locale grow. Wingstop itself is brightly lit and spacious with a seating area. Unfortunately as we have just gone into Tier 4 (🥴) I had to do takeaway but that did not take away from the flavours and quality of the food! I wasn't hungry hungry so I ordered chicken tenders and fries. You can choose from wings, tenders or boneless chicken with a selection of different flavours and a dip. In hindsight, I should have gone for the loaded fries but instead I had regular fries with cajun seasoning and a ranch dip. The chicken tenders had a perfect crunchy coating and were slathered in their Atomic sauce and chilli flakes. I was so confident I'd be able to handle these tenders when I ordered them as the server was warning me that Atomic was hot. I thought I'd be able to handle it as I'm used to Scotch bonnet or Naga levels of spice but I don't know what it was but I had tears in my eyes! Definitely at your own risk! The pungent and hot Habonero flavour was there with a slight vinegary tang and I often needed the ranch dip to cool down my mouth 😎 The crunchy chips were my favourite (I loooovee a good chip) and the cajun seasoning took it up a notch. The guys that work there were upbeat, friendly and had a great work ethic, and it was enjoyable to watch them laugh among themselves while preparing your food. Will be trying the other options on their...
Read moreI am writing this review regarding my experience at Wingstop Hackney on the 20th of February 2022
I went to the Resturant to order some food, ordered £23.50 worth of meal and soon after ordering I hear the fire alarm go off and then we all had to get escorted out of the building as the kitchen was on fire, we then came back into the building and then was told by the manager ‘Simona Stoychevaam’ that due to the kitchen being on fire, the tills stopped working and they are unable to process me a refund for my order, she then offered me a voucher to come back to the Resturant (please tell me if you had such a negative experience at a restaurant will you go back to the same place) so I informed her that I was not happy with the voucher but rather a full refund for my order in which I didn’t even get my drink for either.
She was then very persistent that I take the voucher and not the refund but I also stood my ground in having my refund back, she then took my number and email address and said the very next morning her district manager will be in contact with me to send me my refund, the day I write this email is on the 1st of March and till now I have not received a refund or a call from the store/ district manager.
For a store with such a high reputation, I did not expected to be treated this way and left hanging for this long. I can completely understand that the kitchen went on fire and you were unable to serve the food but the least you could have done is call me the next day and refunded my order, I am extremely disappointed in the way I been treated and will never be returning to any wing-stop...
