Decent place. To preface this, I ordered online via Deliveroo and sadly the driver had sort of mangled the pizza box at some point as some of the toppings had gone lopsided. No hate on the pizzeria itself though, there’s little they can do to the control that. So, onto the review: I ordered the Lucifero pizza (pictured) and homemade Tiramisu (not pictured). I actually thought for what I paid it was pretty good. Was it the best pizza I ever had? No. But for the price I paid online (12.50 for the former, 6 for the latter) I can’t really complain. The pizza was nice and tasty, not too filling and the crust was pretty good. I enjoyed it and quite liked whatever style they call it. The topping would kinda slide off as you lifted a slice but I didn’t really care that much as the actual taste was nice - but I could see why some people don’t like that. The tiramisu was probably the stand out for me for me. Granted, I haven’t had a lot of those in my life as I’m generally not a dessert person, but I was pleasantly surprised by how light it was and the nice taste of coffee that underpinned it. It wasn’t too sweet and was easy to get through so I can only conclude it was pretty good! All in all I’d definitely give this place a go if ordering online or just in the area. I’ll certainly be making a trip down as the prices are super reasonable. Thanks guys.

Definitely cute and I can see the vibe that they were going for but basically a Franco Manca. It’s decently priced so it has that going for it! Had the strangest experience where the lady taking our order forgot who we were about 2 minutes after ordering. Literally there were about 10 people in the restaurant in total so it was pretty confusing as to how she forgot what we looked like. Ultimately it did get sorted and she was nice enough barring the weird conversation about how it would be £1 more for eat in (again, slightly confusing - but she didn’t end up charging us again?). That said - I agree with a bunch of these reviews on how this is the kind of thing you can get anywhere in London as this is p much the dominant style of pizza. I’m glad we shared a single pizza as this is basically like going to a chain. They have all the facilities to make something cool or interesting here. I feel bad making this review a little bit. The owner, who I presume is the older gentleman working here, is trying very hard and probably could just use some better help :( It was okay - I wouldn’t come back. There’s a million places that do sourdough in London which makes this a harder sell for me. That said, they have a garlic and chilli oil bottle on each table which is a nice touch!

The other day I was talking to my partner and he told me there are no good pizza places in London. I immediately told him: “that’s because you’ve never been to Gordos in Dalston”. I used to live near Dalston, so I was a regular costumer there. However, I moved to South London around 6-7 months ago and haven’t been to Gordos since then. Last Saturday, I decided to take my partner there. He loved it so much that he finally admitted that, yes, there are good pizza restaurants in London. The pizza dough is amazing and the ingredients are fresh. I got the parmigiana with extra nduja and burrata. We also ordered a tiramisu, but they were out of the traditional and offered the pistachio one instead - it was a great surprise! Unfortunately, coming all the way from South to Dalston is a bit of a trek, but Gordos is definitely worth the trip.

Okay. I ordered from Farr’s Dalston via Just eat. The delivery guy could not enter an empty venue and they “left it in safe place”. Very silly!

You literally ripped me of 16 quid for no reason!

“Just eat” said this 😂

The courier delivering your order made several attempts to contact you before leaving your order in a safe place. This means we won’t be able to process a refund.

I can see your order has been delivered to a main entrance. Your order will be in one of the following locations, depending on your property type:

The order will have been left at your front door. If the courier was unable to gain access to your apartment building, it will be placed in the front of the apartment building, where the doorbell is.

Sorry, we weren’t able to provide you with the outcome you wanted on this occasion. Thank you for your...
