Very pleased to say that my experience of Heart and Soul's Caribbean Food was, VERY POSITIVE! Firstly the food arrived EARLIER than estimated. Secondly the food was piping hot, just how I like it. So no need to reheat. Finally, all my food items arrived, nothing was missing or substituted. SO ALL THE BASIC REQUIREMENTS RECEIVE A TICK. NOW the Taste! I ordered Salt-fish Accra for starters and they were perfectly formed and extremely tasty. Next was the Doubles, Fried dough filled with curried chickpeas, served with cucumber chutney and Tamarind sauce which was pleasantly, very much like what my wife's mother makes and calls "Chana Batura", which I ordered for my daughter who loves her Nani's food. She absolutely loved it! Last, but by no means least, was the Mutton and Chicken Roti's, that were prepared with potato, chickpeas in a traditional Trinidadian Wrap. They were beautifully presented, wrapped up expertly and in a Heart and Soul branded box, which kept everything hot inside and no leaks or spills of any of the contents and tasted absolutely how I like my Curry. I ordered a Christmas hamper a while ago in preparation for the festive season, and I must say, the communication was excellent—quick responses and timely updates about delivery.

What truly stood out was their willingness to hand-deliver it to the Bedford area, which was incredibly thoughtful and convenient.

Now, let’s talk about the contents! The ham was freshly cooked and absolutely delectable—so flavorful that it felt like a real treat. They also went the extra mile by honoring my request to have the ponche de crème made with puncheon rum, which tasted incredible. (It’s a rare find here in England, where most vendors substitute with Wray and Nephew.) I wish I had ordered more!

Lastly, the sorrel was simply gorgeous—rich, vibrant, and refreshing.
