For £55 per head you would expect a good quality food. The started were nice however the chicken skewer mains and the ravioli was awful. Cheap chicken thighs that had texture of being frozen with some bits looking under cooked. The ravioli was over cooked and sauce was too overpowering and inedible.
Update 19.02.25 in response to company: Wow, to say I had not raised it is an absolute lie. I told the girl waiting on when she was collecting the plates because noone had asked us prior to that if the food was okay and I don't think she had plans to ask me until pulled a face handing it over. Given how many staff you had floating about doing nothing you could have approached at any time to see 3 people at the table were struggling to eat food. At the time of taking the photo I had passed a few pieces to my partner who could not eat the ravioli due to a very salty sauce. He also agreed it was undercooked and passed back the pieces.
Once I had informed girl she got who I presume was the manager for the evening. A lady in white shorts with long hair in a pony tail. She came to speak to me and asked what this issue was. I repeated my concern along with the fact the ravioli was inedible by my partner and brother. Instead of an apology which was all I was expecting instead she chose to completely insult me by dismissing my complaint to say well no one else has ever had a problem with our food!! Similar response to yourself but at least and apology is given if not a couple of days too late. At no point was I offered an alternative meal so when you say it was too late to rectify it was not as she could have easily offered me another main as others were still still eating and dessert did not come for at least another 25 minutes after mains.
I'm so glad I took a photo as evidence. I've often cooked my family chicken thighs so I'm well aware of the science, This was undeniably undercooked and over seasoned to hide the fact you have used cheap cuts. No wonder your restaurant was mainly empty on a Saturday night if this is how you deal with customers. You are a disgrace to the hospitality industry and I hope people see this review and think twice before wasting their money at your establishment.
My only regret having now seen your response is that we gave the 12.5% tip that totalled our bill to over £800, as we felt the waiting on staff didn't deserve to miss out. To say we did not raise our complaint is a lie or to down play our experience again by comparing to others experience is an insult and perhaps environmental health would be interested in your so called...
Read moreFood and atmosphere was 11/10. Interior was so gorgeous it felt like a fancy hotel. Beautiful bar area, they take your coat too and even held out our coats for us to be put back on when we were leaving, which is so nice. I love that it’s spacious and you’re not sitting elbow to elbow with another table.
The food was insanely delicious! We were told 6-8 dishes for 2 people but honestly we were really full 4 would have been enough, the portions weren’t as tiny as we were expecting. Usually small plates in London is like three bites per plate but I would say these were pretty decent small plates . Standouts were Tirokafteri with the bread and feta sagnaki.
The service was lovely but a tad overwhelming. We were asked 16 times ( we counted ) by four different people if the meal was okay. We understand maybe it was a quiet evening so we were getting a lot of attention which is obviously kind but maybe we are British and awkward😂 Usually in restaurants you have one waiter per table and not four different people asking you the same questions on repeat, not complaining it was obviously very kind but yes, as I said a bit overwhelming! You’re not even given this level of attentiveness in Michelin star restaurants in Mayfair. For example, they brought us an extra water when we had two glasses that were perfectly full. They kept asking that we had finished certain dishes when we were still eating.
I would totally come here again food ambience and service was all really great. Even the bar area is gorgeous to just sit and have a drink. They even kept some books out in the bar. The decor is just jaw dropping,...
Read moreEntrance - I did find it quite hard to find the entrance as it’s quite hidden, but nothing google maps can’t fix. Once I found it, it was clear as day where the restaurant was as it was such a huge building.
Food - The food was very nice. I ordered the chicken skewers and a side of potato’s, both very nice. I don’t usually finish my meals but I finished everything on my plate which is always a good sign.
Drinks - I ordered a bottle of white wine with a mini bottle of lemonade, both very nice.
Decor - Very modern and aesthetically pleasing. I really liked the decor, it was beautiful, especially in the bathroom.
Atmosphere - Very nice, chilled, not busy at all for a Friday night which is what I prefer. It was relaxing.
Cleanliness - VERY clean, not a spec of dirt. Not even in the toilets. It looked and smelt clean. No issues with cleanliness.
Total cost - £78 for myself for both food and drinks.
Customer service - The customer service was amazing, from the moment I walked in and were greeted by a very beautiful lady with (I think) a French accent. She let us choose whichever table we wanted and was very warm with her mannerisms.
The waiters and waitresses were also very very nice. Very polite and extremely attentive. They had great recommendations with the food and whenever my wine glass was empty they topped it straight back up. I haven’t experienced customer service in a restaurant that good in years.
Overall - 10/10- The food was great, the staff were even better & the atmosphere was to die for.
I would definitely...
