Hot Cut — Restaurant in London

I’ve always seen Hot Cut and was very intrigued by its look and layout. The problem with the place for me though was the small quantity of meat in the sandwich. I essentially got no fillings and basically ate bread and cheese, this was very disappointing, as I ordered two sandwiches with double meat. If I had ordered a normal portion I would have been even more aggrieved. The worst thing about this is that the assistant in shop was very friendly, recommending things and had a nice, friendly personality. That’s what made the experience that much more unpleasant as paying an expensive price for what I was given, after the nice service just made it seem like my business meant very little, even after I came to support a local business during these hard times. Was good to try but wouldn’t say that at the moment it is good go-to place for a sandwich or toastie. In mine they put less meat and it was smaller than I expected (based on the price), it was over-toasted (which was why I was waiting sometime for a quick sandwich and it was difficult to eat comfortably), the sauces were heated up (ideally they could be added at the end). Overall they need to make some improvements (as they have not been open for very long). I hope that they do as we need a kosher ‘Subway style’ place in our neighbourhood. Honestly the nicest staff in the world - shout out to Josh for grabbing my partner a beer + the other lovely gentleman who’s name I didn’t grab who greeted me outside and proceeded to explain the entire concept to me. Also the food is absolutely delicious - we tried the beef pastrami and the schnitzel baguette sandwiches and let them pick the toppings and they killed it! Would absolutely make the 40 min journey again to grab another one any day of the week. I have nothing but lovely things to say - what a find! Thanks again to everyone...
