HWK LONDON — Restaurant in London

It was really raining and i was lost and had no data so I walked into this shop to ask id they had wifi. Tom, the lovely gentleman welcomed and i asked about the wifi and then ordered a coffee. While preparing my coffee, Tom asked me whether i really wanted the coffee or whether i just needed to use the internet. I told him just needed to google directions. He replied "oh its fine ill just give you the password you dont need to buy anything. He was such a kind gentleman and made me very welcome. He let me use the loo and then let me charge my phone and then even helped write down the directions on a piece of paper as my phone would constantly die because of the rain. He was such a kind lovely gentleman and was extremely helpful. In most of the other shops and restaurants you would be required to make a purchase to use any of the services mentioned above. I dont like coffee but will definitely be back here for some toasties very soon when im hungry as I noticed they have extremely comfortable chairs and such a cozy welcoming atmosphere ideal for when i need to focus on work.

I have been coming to HWK religiously for about 4 years now. The best coffee shop EVER serving the best coffee in London. The food is fantastic, especially the salads. My favourite is the Italian salad with some chicken or the veg salad with an egg. The staff are just the best!

HWK is an integral part of my daily routine. So much so that my dog sits at the door in the morning waiting to head out for her little piece of croissant if she’s lucky. It is also the first place my brother wants to go when he visits from Australia.

Finally, the music is always right on the ball.

We had a very special occasion here and had a private hire. We 'Tied the Not' for our 10 year anniversary and had the best day with our friends and family. Mike was excellent to deal with from the start and communication was clear and professional. The offer for a party of this size felt really reasonable too. The facilities are also great and we were able to put on live music and djs, and the equipment was excellent.
