During an unplanned exploration of Hackney Wick, I had half an hour to burn, the yellow bright sign of Bad Coffee was just too hard to resist, the industrial motif of the sign match perfectly the interior, the spartan and minimalistic décor, with a towering giant industrial coffee toaster in the middle of the cafe' is interrupted only by the dreamy Chesterfield sofa (But there is also a desk with chairs for you Always Online people) . Behind the counter a lovely lady served me a superb Latte and moreover found a charger for my phone, isn't quality and kindness the best formula for an excellent service? Let me finish adding that once you had your tasty hot beverage and enjoyed the attentive service, you can feast your eyes in the spectacular Sgt.Pepper-esque mural /collage outside, Art and Caffeine: Let's face it, Bad Coffee never...

Walked in about 20 minutes before closure, and were met with two friendly faces and baked goods at 50% off. Needless to say, we all had something to go with our delicious coffees.

About 10 minutes later, I came back in to buy some beans and was nicely advised by the guy at the counter, who despite being busy took his time with me. Plus, with your beans a cup of coffee is included which is something I hope to see in more and more places! Ended up taking a bag of Sweet Teef, a Honduran limited batch they had done with a light roast. It went to the football with me, and by train back to Brussels, where I really enjoyed its complexity and boozy flavour.

Great coffee, great people, in a great location with a lot of...

This is a small coffee roaster and shop tucked away in hackney Wick. This is my kind of coffee shop, quirky and rough and ready, The Roaster was busy roasting away, the price for a bag of coffee beans was reasonable for London, and best of all I got a free coffee drink thrown in, which was excellent. Competition is fierce in this part of east London, there are two other specialty coffee roasters a short walk away, this one is the best value by far. I'm definitely coming back here next year for #londonseries2026! Edit; I found out that the baseball is not coming back in 2026, but I'll still go back to bad coffee next time in...

Discovered this new coffee shop by accident. Nice to see a coffee roaster in the area. I had the single origin, flat white in a small cup and it was bursting with flavour. The venue is small, with two seater couch. The barista was nice and super friendly. Bike rack outside. Currently set up more as a grab and go coffee place. No WC. There are a small selection of snacks to buy with your coffee and as time goes on I’d say the selection will evolve. You can buy coffee beans and filters too. I WILL definitely be back, this place just might become my new local coffee stop.
