I went here one Saturday evening with a friend who had been wanting to try this recently opened Japanese eatery. I love a gyoza, so I had the chicken ones to start, although both my dishes came together, which I didn't mind. The gyozas were pan-fried and piping hot, which was fine. It shows they're made to order and not just kept warm and ready. They were tasty with plenty of flavour and went down rather well with the dipping sauce. For my main, I had the Tonkotsu Ramen as I love noodles, meat, and a good broth! In my opinion, all the elements in this dish were spot on. The egg was still gooey, the noodles had a bit of bite, and I could taste the ginger, sesame seeds, and spring onions, and the two nice generous slices of pork were soft and succulent! My only negative comment would be that there wasn't much broth! It could have done with another big ladle of it in there! But overall lovely food and great value for money! I shall be going back! So, if you like Japanese food and you're in the area, then definitely check this place out! The 5 stars are...
Read moreWe do not live near but really fancied ramen for lunch. This place popped up on google when we did a quick search so we thought we would give it a try.
A clean and simple fast food style establishment. Service was friendly and efficient. We ordered 2 tonkotsu ramen, 2 salmon sashimi, a dragon roll and 2 green teas. Everything seemed so fresh, beautifully made and most importantly delicious!! A past review said something along the lines of the ramen rivalling that of wagamama? No!!! This is sooooo much better than wagamama! Wagamama ramen is always overcooked, soggy and stodgy (we go there if we are desperate!..I think I've had it cooked perfectly once after asking the waitress to flash cook the ramen to be firm...usually even when asked... it's super soft!)! Inaka ramen is perfectly cooked! We would definitely come back whenever we want any ramen or sushi as it really hits the spot. We went away happy and satisfied! Keep...
Read moreVisited during their soft launch. I came here at 1pm and it was pretty busy - seating is currently a little sparse and, unless i mis-understood, there was no takeaway option for ramen when I visited, but this may not be a problem when they open 100% after the soft launch. I had the spicy chicken ramen and all things considered(it was fairly busy - peak weekday lunch time) the service was reasonably prompt. Service was friendly too. Whilst ramen is not usually a go to of mine I wanted to try something different. The ramen was good, lots of flavour tho not quite to my spice level if honest(I like pretty spicy food), but seemed reasonable value for money. Due to being first week, there is 10% discount for visitors. Will certainly come again soon and will probably have one of the rice dishes which...
