Do yourself a favour and don't bother stopping here. Start queueing and the staff tell you that you can sit and order from the table via QR code and they will bring your order.
After doing this and selecting the entire order the app doesn't work so go and rejoin the queue with everyone else who has just realised the app doesn't work.
The queueing system ends at the coffee machine but you can't get out because everyone waiting for their coffee orders are now blocking the way.
Despite being in England, the land of Tea, all the tea orders are done by the one person who also makes the coffee and is done in order so you have to wait for ages to get your cup of hot water with a tea bag thrown in, then go and add your own milk and sugar.
Seriously, you might as well have an instant hot water dispenser on the wall and just give customers their mug and tea bag when they order a cup. But then you would struggle even harder to justify the 8.10 pounds charge for 3 cups of hot water and 3 tea bags.
For a place designed for a large amount of visitors my kids school canteen is run better. Not only does it make customers happier and more likely to return it allows more customers to flow through and buy more product. The Cafe represents the museum and an overall great experience makes customers more likely to see value in the museum and donate on the way out.
If this was my business I would have it written as a standard operating procedure for the manager of the day to review all Google reviews and customer feedback from the day before and log how they had improved, mitigated or removed the...
