Some of the food served leaves much to be desired. Parking can be a problem. 2- 3.4.22 Tasty breakfast & food served by friendly staff in pleasant pub surroundings. 21.5.22 Management should be aware of people coming in & then letting kids sip alcohol from their glasses! Ridiculous & unacceptable. 1.6.22 Staff need to be aware of menu prices & not overcharge customers & blame it on old sales registers! 25.6.22 Unpleasant staff who ask you to look for a clean table if they are asked to clean up a table which you want to use & has been previously used by a diner ! Ridiculous. 5.8.22 Need to ensure that packets of ketchup, mustard & mayonnaise are well stocked! Not all items on the menu are available either! 7.8.22 Ridiculous that they charge for & serve a so called large breakfast with several items missing from the menu & then throw the butter 🧈 into the middle of food on the plate! Going back & forth from the kitchen to add missing food items & then saying that they have run out of stock! 2.11.22 Items missing from the menu are not properly supplemented by counter staff & kitchen staff like Libby who have got comfortable in such surroundings with others, are cocky, unpleasant & quick to blame the customer for not getting the orders correct! Ridiculous judging by what's happened in the past! Otherwise, tasty breakfast . Car parking problems exist. 27.1.23 Tasty breakfast served in an environment with no heating & the toilets were in a flooded mess! 6.10.23 Tasty food served in an environment where customers seem to vape/smoke , where the toilets need to be kept clean including the tables & apparently drinkers get aggressive & abusive to others! 3.12.23 Tasty food served by friendly staff in a clean environment. However the stinking toilet is a mess with smashed up hand-dryers! Shocking. 23.12.23 Tasty fish & chips 🍟, however the tables & seats are not cleaned & staff have to be prompted to do so. 25.2.24 Tasty fish & chips 🍟 but toilets 🚻 need to be kept clean as there is no toilet paper! 3.7.24 A cold pub where food on the menu is not available & toilet seats are missing! 14.9.24 Tasty breakfast served by staff in a clean environment However the toilet flushes don't seem to work properly! 28.10.24 Seems that to ask for tables to be cleaned & cleared up is a crime by surly & unpleasant staff around who expect you to help with the cleaning up & lecture you too as well as not following up on requests like serviettes! I have never before written a review about a resteraunt but JJ Moons Kingsbury deserves my attention. The food was poor thats for sure but that was nothing compared to the customer service which was absolutely unbelievably ABYSMAL and one staff member was rude beyond belief. She clearly had an awful attitude from the start and when she brought my starter it came with no sauce as was advertised, I then asked for the sauce which she rudely said I had to pay extra for. It turned out she was wrong as she had thought it was a different item? which her colleague brought and apologised for the mistake. They firstly had no fish and chips left and this is where it all went wrong. Next I asked for Katsu Curry which I have always known to be crispy. It came grilled and I said that it was not what I asked for, I didnt even realise that you could get it grilled and she said I should have specified If I wanted it crispy as it will normally just come grilled (this cannot be serious?) (very weird). I also asked for them to change our burger order to plain and she said they cannot change as it was too late and will just remove the extra stuff from the burger, In doing so they dug a chunk out the burger that looked like a crater. When I complained about these things and also explained that I was supporting a disabled gentleman I thought they would be more understanding but they really didn't care in the slightest and just said as you are complaining about everything I will just give you a refund. Then the extremely rude apparently stand-in manager came over and rudely asked me to hurry up so they could refund onto the disabled gentleman's card. Then they refunded me the incorrect amount as the extremely rude staff member must have put in the wrong item and he was refunded £12 instead of £16. I was absolutely shocked by their appaling attitudes and was honestly too tired to get into a heated discussion/argument with them as I was still starving hungry at that point but I really think the lady thought she was something special (she wasn't). These two stsff members (dyed blond haired lady & brown skinned lady with braids) seemed to lack even basic customer service skills, or empathy or any form of understanding and at no point did myself or the disabled man I was looking after recieve an apology for the shocking treatment we recieved. Honestly this was the worst customer service experience I have ever had BY FAR and I have been to many Wetherspoons before as well as other establishments over the years. Not sure about this place to be honest. Seems very popular so I went for the first time today. I had a poached egg with bacon sandwich and tea which set me back just under 12 pounds. Expensive when you think of what you’re eating with the bacon being the most pricey. The bread was white sliced bread so we are talking the worse and cheapest bread available out there made with raising agents rather than yeast or even sourdough which is much better quality. No option to change. . The poached egg was warm to cold. The top up for hot drinks like tea, coffee and hot chocolate is a nice touch but it’s with a machine. Tea good as no different to other places unless you want herbal which is not available. Not a lot of variety to be honest. A bit like going to Asda for your shopping and not be able to find what you want. I think the success of the place is it’s a bit like going to your local British pub. A log of people want that even when they travel. They done like to deviate from the norm. It’s fish and chips, pork pies, full English breakfast and nothing else is acceptable. For those type of people I think this place is everything they need. For someone like me that likes variety and well travelled that wants more like a better quality bun and more on the menu than your standard cod, chips and mushy peas, pork pies and black pudding, not ideal but I feel it’s a place tailored for Brits and they fit right in.

For the popularity I was expecting much more. The prices are about average but so was the food. Atmosphere was not too bad. A bit dated.

Ordering system seems good. You can scan a bar code and order that way and pay at the counter. No one greeted me at the entrance which is fine. You just sit Sloan at any table.
