Jamaica Blue Review And it was all going so well….. Jamaica blue is obviously good quality coffee However, reviews must consider the context of price in proportion to quality and service. Baring in mind, the breakfast is one of the most expensive I've ever had. The quality portion sizes and service must match your price point. They have a lot to live up to. My review must take into consideration what I have had to pay. I was glad they had a tap water dispenser. And the lady at the counter was very helpful at helping me choose a low carbohydrate breakfast. It was all looking so good. I thought this could be 5* review. Then it all started going downhill. Often businesses must decide wether pricing is going to be set at ‘treat’ or one-off visit price. Or at a every day price where you could pop by daily or multiple times in a week. I dont think Jamaica Blue met either brief. I'm afraid the quality of the breakfast was similar standard to The freedom breakfast in wetherspoon for £2.99. One may say, you get what you pay for. In this case I did not. After taking my order, the lady at the counter said it would take about 15 mins. In total it took 33 minutes. The first item arrived after 25 minutes. I said the first item, as they made one of the most significant errors a restaurant can make. Delivering food for two people at different times. You spend so much money to go out for a meal together, only to have to eat separately. They then delivered my incomplete meal. Then my final item, arrived 3 minutes later. My wife's chicken dish only had 2 olives. So we had to ask for more. I have attached a couple of pictures of our dishes. You can decide if you think they are worth over £14 each. I was surpised a restaurant Serving breakfast didn't have freshly squeezed orange juice. Especially at the price point. Sadly one of two toilets weren't working. But wasn't labelled as ‘out of order’ Restaurant owners need to understand, no matter how many times you say sorry, the fact remains that you charged me the same as if everything worked perfectly. A free coffee or something would have been an attempt to make up for the errors. The three main issues were: Too expensive Very long wait Separate food arrival

Came here on a number of occasions. Abit pricey but i will pay money for good food. Visited Yesterday again, I ordered breakfast which haven't had from here. I have before had eggs benidic with sourdough bread which is really nice and their pancakes. It's a beautiful restaurant/café. Don't look up at the ceiling. The food was decent not amazing this time but was okay I was surprised to find out they sell turkey bacon and halal options which is nice. The presentation of the food was a little bit annoying how its served in little bowls would of been better on one plate as the tables aren't that big. Hot chocolate and coffee is always nice would recommend their hot drinks. Customer service is always good had a white male with glasses he was very friendly and had good customer service. I complained about the hushbrowns being under cooked as they were soggy and just really unpleasant, the server came and took it away and apologised and had it changed straight away however could hear the chefs talking about it there after which was a little uncomfortable. I do like the restaurant not all the time your going to be happy. Thank you

Jamaica Blue Review

And it was all going so well…..

Jamaica blue is obviously good quality coffee

However, reviews must consider the context of price in proportion to quality and service.

Extra, extra, read all about it! Halfway through my important meeting my call has dropped. I'm thinking it's me and my device so I reset it - having raised it with one of the staff members (rather apologetic and a kind chap) who mentions that its a known issue within the cafe, so i decide to share my experience with the manager who is unwilling to listen and justifying that its not their problem. Reality check moment It is your problem as you are misleading customers by advertising WiFi as a selling point of your service - be honest and upfront that we offer the WiFi roulette where it really is pot luck but a high chance your meeting will be interrupted and our WiFi crash. I was a pretty regular customer here but I shall not be returning again due to the incompetence of the manager (Nidhi). The manager clearly lacks any empathy and continues to be defensive around issues which are within their control. The last couple of times - their WiFi has cut on me, whilst I could mistake it for a glitch the first time, unfortunately this time around it's confirmed that they're unwilling to do anything about it. Why have a cafe and claim to offer WiFi when you clearly aren't able to meet basic needs of the customer which is connectivity? Then defending it and blaming the local postcode and for me to complain to the council if I had an issue? Then not being willing to resolve the matter by stating 'if you're not happy then don't come back, this is my shop' all as a response to me gently raising a concern around my expectations not being met and as a result I simply went down the road to ARISE (black and yellow cafe) where I was able to get coverage without interruption. Worth having a read of the other reviews as something clearly is the common denominator here: you guessed it - it's the management. Recommendations: Remove the WiFi service advertisement as part of your premises and hire a new manager. Continue this way and you really have a bleak future. AVOID THIS PLACE! Please note: Their immature response to my complaint sums it all up. They're a clown's hat short of being a circus. I'll be sure to pass the word around as a...

Appalling customer service and rude staff. Avoid this place. The manager Nidhi, is especially rude, patronising, and totally unprofessional—she should not be in a customer-facing role. She clearly has no idea how to speak to or treat paying customers, and her staff aren’t any better. I was shouted at in front of other customers and treated with zero respect. I’ve worked in customer service for years and would never dream of shouting at a customer over a simple mistake. I’ve NEVER been treated this badly in public.

While mistakes can happen, such as my order being mixed up, the way it was handled was unacceptable. The waitress must have misheard me, entered the wrong order, and proceeded to serve it. When I pointed out that I hadn’t ordered the dish, she responded in a condescending manner, insisting that I ‘100% must have ordered that dish,’ which I most certainly had not.

After speaking with the manager, the waitress told me that I couldn’t change my order and would have to eat what was served. She then offered me the option of paying the price difference to receive the dish I originally ordered, to which I agreed. However, when I went to the counter to pay, the rude manager told me I could not order another dish, claiming I had ‘admitted to the misunderstanding,’ which apparently meant I couldn’t change my order or pay the difference. I was left without food, and the manager showed no concern whatsoever. I left hungry, humiliated and deeply upset.

Nidhi’s behaviour, along with that of her staff, is shockingly unprofessional. One of the waitresses even mentioned that they regularly receive complaints about the manager, so be warned. Even her own staff don't want to work there. No customer should ever be made to feel this way. I strongly advise against coming here as there are plenty of other lovely cafés in Ealing that offer far better service.

This is not the first time I have witnessed such behaviour. I’ve seen other customers being shouted at by the manager on previous occasions, which was equally shocking. I was never given the option to...
