Avoid this place, if you are after a high quality . After so many hype and reading reviews I finally decided to try it myself. The guy who had a badge of manager served me, he didn't have a clue about the menu, he wasn't inviting, nor seems to care about my experience there. They charge for sauces, 10p each, which is fine if you know in advance but you only will find out when you ask for sauces.!!! (After you paid for everything already) I order the spicy burger with cheese as a meal option. It came quick and looked nicely wrapped and clean (nothing special through). The chicken coating was perhaps too thick after the first bite i was put off immidiately, because all I could taste was SALT.
The chicken was well cooked and of good quality, so I give them that; however I say they totally got their recipe wrong. Does American eat this? Really ? No way, must be a different recipe to here.
The fries was also full of SALT and when I asked why, they said it comes like this (already salted) and they don't add extra salt after cooking!! That it self worrying, meaning the fries are preserved using the salt and not as fresh it should be!!. The place was clean and inviting but so called manager was clueless, the burger wasn't great, nor the overall experience and to be honest after few hours of eating I didn't feel good in my stomach about eating that burger, a sense of regret which truly doesn't happen often with me.
Would I go back? No, Never, waste of time and money, they need to reduce this amount of salt they are adding to their food !! Really bad for you.
I will never change my Zinger burger from KFC with this, (ever). I should have give them 2 star but really didn't feel fair but it was on the border line of 2 star. I stick with KFC for now. Please train your managers, do you really train these people? the guy was totally clueless of what you are selling and those options on the menu.
Please please change . . I have 3 golden message for you...1. Reduce your SALT contents, 2. Reduce your salt; 3. Reduce your salt...... then you might stand a change to compete, like this you are going no where and you are going down. Sorry about that. I hope you take my comments seriously. You have potentials here but you need to listen and CHANGE, (change fsst before too late to close down) sticking with this recipe you are going...
Read moreMy train was cancelled and decided to just eat out at Popeyes as have been meaning to try it for some time. I have only ever had it once in Turkey so know how popular it is.
Upon arrival at the Ealing branch I was immediately greeted by a nice young lady who was friendly and welcoming. I think these days a lot places forget basic good customer service, they say a smile goes a long way and it does as first impressions always count. Inside the store was beautiful, very clean lots of seating and has a good layout. Everything is organised in a way where it doesnt get too chaotic eg one place to pick up, one place for the drinks etc etc. My only issue is the washrooms are upstairs, not sure if i missed any on the ground floor but that could be an issue for elderly people like my mother or disabled etc Anyway onto ordering the food, very simple slick self service system, table service available or you can collect at the counter. Initially felt the price was abit steep it came to £15.49 for a deluxe burger meal with cajun fries, regular coke, and 3 mild chicken tenders. I went and sat down and my food came pretty quickly. Now onto the main event, the food. I was pleasantly surprised, starting with the tenders they were MASSIVE I was not expecting them to be this big. They went down well with the bbq sauce, the cajun fries were pretty tasty but prefer slightly fatter chips. These are like cajun french fries. I saved the burger for last and by now I was feeling abit full. The burger itself was a lot bigger than I was expecting, I like the use of the bap style bun rather than typical sesame seed buns, these cheese was tasty and the burger deffo the best of all the items I ordered. Some say the chicken is bland which is true in a sense it lacks abit of kick but for me personally I dont like my food too spicey anymore and so this was perfect for my liking. Overall I would deffo go back and recommend popeyes for familys or group of friends as the inside atmosphere is really nice. Way better than KFC. I cant rate it higher than 4 stars but 4.5 is...

Every Time the moment I stepped in, the tantalizing aroma of their signature spices filled the air, promising an unforgettable meal.
The staff at Popeye's were incredibly welcoming and attentive. The service was prompt, and they were more than happy to answer any questions I had about their dishes.
Now let's talk about the food. Oh, where do I begin? The crispy coating on their chicken is simply perfect, offering a satisfying crunch with each bite. The meat itself was juicy and flavorful. The Cajun fries were seasoned to nearly perfection only but salty, I also couldn't resist trying their famous biscuits with honey dip.
In terms of ambiance, Ealing branch has a welcoming, spacious and relaxed atmosphere. The seating was comfortable, and the interior had a iconic Popeye iconic colour themed that added to the overall experience.
The only reason I'm not giving Popeye's a full 5 stars is because the spacious seating area can get a bit crowded during peak hours. However, the friendly and efficient staff made up for any minor inconvenience. Additionally, the restaurant could benefit from expanding their dessert menu, as I would have loved to indulge in something sweet after such a fantastic meal.
All in all, Popeye's Louisiana Kitchen in Ealing is a must-visit for anyone craving fried chicken and southern-inspired flavors. With their attentive service, mouthwatering chicken, and pleasant atmosphere, it's an excellent spot to satisfy your cravings. Just be sure to arrive early or be prepared for a slight wait...
