What a gem of a place! Contacted them regarding a query about the fish. The phone was answered promptly and a solution found. These folks understand customer service. They are consummate professionals. I ordered several things, and everything was piping hot. when it arrived. I would particularly recommend the sea bream and rice and peas. The rice was fluffy and fresh. The portion sizes are generous. The flavours are authentic and nicely seasoned; reminds you of home. The ackee and saltfish was delicious as well as the melt in your mouth curry goat meal! The food is well presented in containers that are properly sealed. No leaking takeaway from here! First time ordering from this place. I have ordered from several Caribbean places but this beats all of them. I ordered the oxtail meal with butter beans which other places don't have it was so tasty, meat soft the only thing I can suggest a bit more Gravy cause you get good size portion of rice & peas. They also give you free salad although a small portion but other places don't give. Ordered a portion of coleslaw good quantity and very creamy for the price of £1 not bad at all compared to other places charging £2.50 and not that good either. Went here a couple days ago to go get some chinese food however this place is near one, so I popped in to see what they have to offer, the food looks fresh, good and tasteful, smelled good as well! What caught my eye was the chocolate cake and the mac & cheese so I ended up ordering it. I got home and warmed up the mac & cheese, and I must admit, it was the best I have ever had since I have been living in the UK going on 14 years, they got some good mac, I can't wait to try other meals but I will be back and bringing my other people over to try it as well.
