Karak Chaii Hounslow — Restaurant in London

The website indicates that the establishment operates until midnight; however, I have reservations about this based on the conduct of the staff. Upon our arrival at approximately 11:30 PM on a Friday, we were met with an unwelcoming atmosphere. The staff was in the process of cleaning our table as we sat down to enjoy our tea, which made us feel uncomfortable. Ultimately, out of frustration, we felt compelled to step outside to have our tea.

Initially, we requested pink tea, but the staff informed us that only regular chai was available. After ordering seven or eight regular teas and settling at our table, we were approached in a rather unprofessional manner and told to leave, as they were closing. The staff hovered over us, insisting that we vacate the premises despite having just placed our orders. Furthermore, they failed to inform us of any dining restrictions prior to taking our orders.

I was accompanied by seven or eight friends, and the overall service was not only unprofessional but also discourteous, with our drinks served cold. I would not recommend this venue for a late-night visit. I felt embarrassed in front of my friends, as the experience marred our evening. We were a group in 14 teachers and I made sure to call the restaurant 10:45 am that at 12pm we would arriving. I was told that is OK. But we were shocked with the service Nd food quality. Service was too late. The food tasted the same...bhel puri was same as samosa chaat...which was same as Aloo chaat. One of us ordered Aloo paratha, was the tiniest paratha, cut in six pieces with very minty chutney... the joke is the paratha was not even freshly made..it was the frozen one we get of Shaana type. So disappointing. The teachers were waiting too long for their drinks. We had to ask for our paid drinks and food atleast 6 times. Will never recommend this place to anyone. The only thing was the actual name of the shop : Karak chai...that was good. Limbu pani didnt have lemon or lime in it...Waste of time and money..tasteless food and...
