Phat Buns (Hounslow) — Restaurant in London

Arrived. After looking at online menu. Prices changed quite a bit. Had increased.. fine.....

Ordered 2 burgers 1 sweet potato fries 1 onion rings.. Wanted frozen coke.. told not available. so opted for other soft drinks on tap. That were not great.. fine.. about 36 quid total..

Place was DEAD. Us and 1 other table of teens shouting and smoking indoors fighting and shouting..all going into toilet at same time.. dodgy... disabled toilet btw by sign on door.. had a lock with code.. they seem to know...

staff didn't intervene.. and let them cause a scene.. We just wanted to have a quick lunch.. But couldn't even talk because of them shouting for about 45 minutes. From when we ordered until we left.

Food came about 25 or 30 minutes later after ordering.. Quite a wait considering was so quiet. Side of onion rings.. 3.. measly tiny frozen processed rings.. tasteless mush. Sweet potato fries.. Seemed refried at least twice.. maybe 3 times.. (I'm a chef I can tell easily)

decent portion tho.. for 4 quid.. Burgers were ok. Better than MC Donald's or kfc. Drinks were horrid but drinkable at best.

In total.. Maybe we had a bad experience this time. Burgers great. Sides not so much. Drinks below standard Wait time poor considering so quiet Service great Decor amazing Other customers smoking indoors and not dealt with/ignored.. ruined it.

May consider returning. Huge potential. Had some disappointments...

Halal It’s Soo good I thought it’s pricey until I tried it and was soo good!

Imagine ordering via Deliveroo, food comes in good time.

The burgers look like they’ve been prepared for a photo shoot and end up tasting better than the pictures made it look. The drinks surprised me, refreshing flavours, cups are sealed like boba drinks so no spills.

The chips were beautifully crisp and fluffy and a deep bag so great portion. Just when it’s win after win, the milkshake stole the show. Strawberry cheesecake oh my goodness. Game changer.

Hounslow ain’t ready. I honestly ate my food, drank my drink, tasted the milkshake and said “I have to call them just to show my appreciation”.

It was a long day at work and the care put into prepping my food felt like I was being looked after! Such good value.

That two for two meal option is a winner! I hope that promo sticks around.

It takes a lot of effort trying to choose things you’ve never had. Sometimes you just want to smash a button and cover two people or more. Quick tap tap and order.

So well done with that. Lots of choice slows down the thinking and I would have missed out on how good the food was if I scrolled through lots of options that I initially thought was pricey (now I know the value).

I’ll be ordering and visiting on a regular. You won over a local and loyal customer!

Very rare any where gets top marks from me. Great service from manager mohammed. Knows his products and makes some great recommendations and sugestions to help and answered all my questions. Very patient. Nice decor and comfy seating. Reasonably priced. Ribwich was good but would be nicer in the other flavour options too and not just BBQ. I'd give it 6.5 out of 10. Great if you love BBQ. Strongly flavours , good quality meat. Cheetos chicken burger thing looked impressive and taste wise would nice. Pretty tall for a burger. 8 out if 10. Another choice was the make your own fried chicken burger with added halloumi in a pretzel bun. Mrs loved it although of did become sloppy with the sheer juice/water/liquid coming out of it. Made it a bit unpleasant to wards the end if the burger. Good flavours here .8 out of 10 Had some other photos cheese classic burger thing. That was decent and best thing I ate at this visit. Simple and great flavours.. Give this a 9 out of 10. Portions are good. Crinkle fries are better than skin on. Nice drinks flavours. Chicken tenders ,had loads of these .tried a number of flavours and best was garlic and sweet chilli . Drinks were nice flavours. Pleasant and enjoyable experience. Will definitely be back for more and will be my go to burger joint from here on. Thanks guys. Great...
