Dont normally leave reviews but... the staff were unprofessional and kept interupting our session which was only half hour in the first place due to availability.
The staff told us we had to pay in advance over the phone. When we arrived we asked for a few extra minutes to extend as the time was so short and they said they can't because it's booked up, but could let us have a few extra minutes only. In the middle of our song a guy burst in saying we had to purchase one drink each and spend minimum of £10. Which was odd because we've never been asked to buy drinks or pay in advance for anything at their Soho branch or at our favourite karakoe lucky voice soho. We had to make a payment there and then whilst our time was ticking, very inconvenient... It took what felt like 10 minutes to get rid of the guy then another 10 minutes later he was back early to tell us we had to finish and didn't let us finish the song even when they said we could have some extra time. When we asked to extend suddenly there was an opening for 30 more minutes for an extra £15 when we already paid for a full hour... They were trying to make money. They could have just extended it free since they interrupted us and it was a birthday but we paid anyway. They kept hovering outside the door and laughing as if they knew what they were doing... If quickly came to the end and the guys were early again telling us that people are waiting for us to leave. No A/C in booths also, was hot. Avoid this...
Read moreI have gone to this Karaoke Box multiple times. The customer service has always been below par, but my experience on the last occasion was so bad, I feel I have to leave a negative review. My husband and I arrived on a Monday night. Understandably, the place was empty. From the moment we arrived we got the distinct impression the staff member on duty (Adnan) just wanted to go home. As soon as we got there (around 21:50) and enquired as to whether we could order drinks to the room, he said ‘order them now as the bar is closing soon’. Bit strange at 21:50 considering the place closes at 23:30, but whatever. Upon leaving (around 22:50) I asked him what time the bar actually closed (I didn’t want a drink, I was just curious). He said once again ‘soon’. I challenged him by saying he’d said that when we walked in, an hour ago. He seemed a little caught off-guard. I asked again, what time does it actually close? He eventually told me ‘22:30’. (He’d just said the bar closed ‘soon’ at 22:50.) Overall he was super rude and dismissive, but most notably, he seemed to be inventing closing times in order to go home early. We spent about £70 and it was my birthday. Real shame. Postscript - it’s no wonder the staff members are so rude considering the rudeness of the replies by the ‘owner’ to the negative reviews listed...
Read moreHad an amazing time at the Karaoke Box Mayfair last Saturday! Went with a few mates and loved everything about it; from the greetings of all the members of staff - who welcomed us from the moment we walked in -, to the bar service. The bartenders, including the manager, were really friendly and quick when it came to ordering drinks. The fact that we'd be singing out hearts out and have drinks delivered to our room made the night all the better, as we didn't have to worry about all going to the bar. The range of music in the rooms was immaculate as there was a wide variety of genres to pick from and any song we requested was available! The food was also incredibly good, especially when considering the fact that it is a bar. As already mentioned, the service was amazing and we were treated with the utmost respect from all members of staff even as we left the bar. I also really liked the atmosphere in the bar and would definitely recommend it to anyone looking for a wonderful night out in London! You will NOT regret going to the Karaoke Box Mayfair and will without a doubt have a...
