Last day in London and I was looking for a unique gift for my dad back home. I’ve been walking through Oxford Street and nothing stood out. I happened to pass Molton Brown and decided to walk in. I was welcomed in politely by a lovely elderly gentleman and was given an opportunity to browse before finally requesting assistance. The staff were knowledgeable and took the time to listen to my very specific request (woody, fresh, hint of citrus smell). I had even mentioned two very opposite smelling colognes and they gave me a few great options to smell. I was then approached by Sarah who heard my request and isolated my options down to two based on preference. I thereafter also was advised on a current special they were having and had my gift personalized both on the bottle and packaging at no additional cost.
The assistance received by all staff members, however, especially Sarah was incredible and worth every scent.
I saw a gentleman comment that Dubai is cheaper and it probably is slightly, but the personalization, the uniqueness of the item that is not international, made this more special than anything you can...
Read moreThe lady with the long blonde hair (sorry, I don't know your name), was truly amazing.
However, there was one lady (POC) who made me feel really uncomfortable, unfortunately. I am a shy person and when I said I didn't need help she began hovering and then stood next to me whilst calling over another staff member (male), she whispered something then said to him loudly (right next to my face), "I'll tell you later".
When I turned to look at them, both of them were staring at me. It was obvious I was being referred to and it was an awkward feeling.
I got my items and left feeling grateful for the nice lady (I assume manageress. Not sure. But she gave that impression). But shocked that a nice store like Molten Brown could have gossipy kind of staff (I was dressed nicely. It was just that I am shy and I didn't want assistance, which I politely declined.) Please understand we are not all confident or extroverted people. Sometimes we prefer to just peruse quietly. There is no need to make a customer uncomfortable or act like they are a thief or weird or whatever just for...
Read moreI had an amazing experience at the Molton Brown store at 227 Regent Street today! I’m always very well taken care of, and this visit was no exception. I originally went just to test a fragrance for a gift, without any intention to buy, but I left completely enchanted.
The sales associate, Brian, was incredibly attentive and took the time to introduce me to the new Bluebell & Wild Strawberry fragrance—what a delightful surprise! His dedication and knowledge about the products made my experience even more special.
I was so impressed that, thanks to Brian, I ended up purchasing a gift set of the new fragrance for myself! I left the store feeling very satisfied, and I will definitely be returning to purchase my friend’s gift. Impeccable service and wonderful products!...
