Have been ordering here for many years , I had my birthday celebration here recently and even more recently ordered from here for my work Christmas party. Great service, nice and polite. Very good food at a high standard. The butter chicken never disappoints with onion bhaji. Thank you team for amazing food . Eat in experiance is always great here

EDIT 19TH JANUARY 2025 As my review before you can see ive been a loyal customer for 8 years + , I understand the food prices all have to go up due to inflation its happening everywhere , however you have no started charging 3.95 for pilau rice and have put it into the aluminum square container that used to contain my bjajis compared to the plastic containers of the butter chicken. I called to complain to which I asked to speak to manager yet wasn't same manager I've dealt with for these past years to inform me that's the way the rice comes now but its filled to the top . So you're telling me your are charging me basically ÂŁ4 for rice that is half the size . He informed there is choices of different size rice . I dont see that option on website and never had this option . I'm mad as I've spent 30 pounds for a single portion of rice and butter chicken to fill 2 ? It doesn't make sense . Please gi back to serving normal portion of rice especially if you're...

If I could put 0 stars I would. This restaurant does not even deserve 1 star. The customer service is disgusting. We have used this restaurant in the past for both takeaway and eat in. On this occasion, the delivery driver was 'unable' to find our home to deliver our takeaway, despite many successful orders in the past. Its a main road and easy to locate. We were told to come and collect our order from a nearby corner shop otherwise the delivery driver will be leaving. When calling the restaurant, they basically said its not their problem and they use a 3rd party delivery company. They said they would contact the driver and call us back. We received no call back. When calling the restaurant back, the man on the phone abruptly and rudely answered, stating his brother will be dropping the takeaway and that there is a problem with the address. When asking what the problem is, he screamed, actually screamed down the phone that he has explained there is a problem with the address (didnt state what the problem was) and that he is talking english! When asking for a refund, he refused to give one. Food arrived cold, and probably contaminated. Extremely rude and you have now LOST customers. I wouldnt recommend anyone to you !...

I used to order from Taj Restaurant quite a lot when I was pregnant and they were always friendly and the food always tasted amazing (it's been a few years). I decided to order this evening as I had a craving for it. The food arrived and smelt delicious. However, I paid ÂŁ8.95 for Chicken Tikka Masala only to have a few pieces of chicken floating in a whole container full of sauce. I was highly disappointed as this is not the same standard, the portion was ridiculously small! But I'm more disappointed in the man I spoke to over the phone. He told me he'll give me another piece of chicken next time I order, in which I replied "with that sort of portion I doubt I'll be ordering again". He went on to raise his voice at me and was quite rude. I simply responded that they'd need to sort out their portions otherwise they'll lose customers. He continued to go on a rant so I hung up. It's a pity because I really liked Taj and don't get me wrong, the food is still delicious (had to eat it seeing as I paid for it) but out of principle I wont be ordering again because I don't believe you should speak to your customers in such a way and if that's their new portion size then it's simply...

The boxes weren’t closed properly and most of the food had spilled out into the plastic bag by the time it arrived. It was pretty obvious that this was the case but the driver didn't mention it and was already gone by the time I noticed a few seconds later. The little food that was remaining was not bad, but the naan was cold and the pappadom was stale. I managed to get a refund from Just Eat.

The most amazing food in London! My recommendations: Curry: masala curry - it tastes fresh because they have a natural recipe (unlike other shops which use loads of oil and sugar!) Nan: garlic and chili nan Starter: Taj mixed platter Warning: once you’ve tried Taj you can’t go back to other Indian places. Reasonable price!

Lovely little restaurant on a quiet side street. The food was amazing , beautifully presented and really tasty. You might not want to eat the Kulfi as it looks so lovely. The service was also great, so attentive and respectful. If you eat here you won’t be disappointed.
