KFC Borough is a great place to get a quick and delicious meal! I've been to KFC Borough first time today with my family, and we had a great time, except staff confused with our order couple times. The menu is full of classic KFC favorites, as well as some more unique options. We’ve had the Original Recipe Chicken, the popcorn chicken , mighty bucket for one and the Teriyaki chicken, and they were all delicious. The service is always friendly and efficient, except they confused couple items on our offer and the atmosphere is relaxed and inviting. The restaurant is located in the heart of Borough Market, so it's a great place to stop for a quick bite before exploring the market. Couple pro tips you should know about this place: - The restaurant is open from 11am to 11pm, so you can get a meal at any time of day. - The prices are reasonable, and the portions are generous. - KFC Borough is a great place to go with friends or family - I highly recommend KFC Borough if you're looking for a delicious and affordable meal in the heart of Borough Market. - The restaurant is Zabihah Halal, so it's a great option for Muslims and this was the main reason we dined in here. Here are some additional details about the Zabihah Halal certification: - Zabihah Halal is a type of Halal certification that ensures that the meat has been slaughtered in accordance with Islamic law. - The KFC Borough restaurant is certified by the Halal Monitoring Authority (HMA), which is a leading Halal certification body in the UK. - The HMA ensures that all of the meat served at KFC Borough is Zabihah Halal, and that the animals are treated humanely before they are slaughtered. If you are looking for a delicious and affordable Zabihah Halal meal in the heart of Borough Market, I highly recommend KFC Borough.

Less than average KFC. Tried the new sweet chilli bites. Such a disappointment, four tiny pieces of chicken dipped in sauce and definitely not worth the money in my opinion. The rest of the food was as you’d expect from them. However, the premises are filthy with no staff cleaning tables for the next customer and the toilets are absolutely disgusting. It reeks of urine and there was no toilet paper. Customer service is nonexistent. I asked for the baby change toilet to be opened and was told literally ā€œtoilet doesn’t flush, use the other oneā€ pointing at the one unisex toilet where there’s no chance a pushchair with a baby fits inside. Only after having to explain I need to use the baby change table and physically point at my child did she come to open the door and just as I had suspected, it’s a decent toilet, clean with no nasty smells. And the toilet does flush. I can only assume now, the staff tell customers the disabled/baby-change toilet is ā€œout of serviceā€ to conveniently have a clean toilet for themselves rather than doing their jobs and cleaning at regular intervals. It’s no wonder most customers get their food to takeaway.

I had a very disturbing experience at KFC Borough High Street. I discovered a foreign object in my food — something that should never have made it past even the most basic hygiene or quality checks. I’ve attached a photo for reference, because frankly, words don’t do justice to how unacceptable it was. I raised the issue immediately. KFC claimed to have conducted a ā€œthorough investigationā€ within less than 24 hours — an unlikely timeframe for a genuine review of a serious food hygiene issue. I followed up with an email to express my concern and received no response. Instead, they offered a Ā£15 voucher, which I refused. I’m not looking for handouts — I want accountability. The experience was enough to put me off ever eating there again. If this is their idea of high standards, I dread to think what goes unnoticed. This isn’t just disappointing — it’s a potential health risk.

Having worked at a different kfc previously as a manager and knowing the regimental standards KFC demands from their employees I was shocked to witness the catastrophic scenes from my visit on Thursday afternoon around 4pm and had I had been the ROCC I would’ve of shut you down.

From a customers point of view, the floors were in need of a clean. There were no clean tables in the restaurant, I had to clear the rubbish off my own table, i asked one of the two guys on the front counter and they gave me sanitiser and blue roll, to clean the table myself (From a H&S/ COSH pov that’s crazy). The lobby was over run by delivery drivers at one point, waiting there for orders but no one was actually eating anything from the restaurant.

Whilst I waited for my food I sat and observed everyone working, if I could spot even a whiff of the duty manager I would’ve called them over and of informed them of the nightmare of ship they are ā€˜running’.

My order was given to another customer and vice versa, specific food hygiene procedures were not being followed in the kitchen such as improper use of red aprons etc.

When I got my food, it did not come in the grease proof box it was supposed to and was all thrown into one paper bag.

They charge a considerable amount more than my local KFCs , you would think that means the labour budget would allow you to staff the place well enough to operate to the required standard.

I will not be eating here again anytime soon, and if the franchise/ area manager reads this I would probably recommend having a good look at the management within this store if any, and working out where the...

im so well aquainted with this KFC branch. its seen me through many years of university. 5 years ago, this KFC used to hit the spot. the chicken used to be tender and flavourful, and it used to get the job done. the quality has depreciated over the last couple of years, and last night was my final straw. in a moment of madness and true starvation, my friends and i got zinger stackers after we had a particularly good one in colliers wood kfc recently. this was horrendous. the breading on the chicken tasted and felt like fried cardboard and the chicken was somehow simultaneously greasy and dry. they were incredibly stingy with the sauces (both chicken pieces were bone dry. couldve played ice hockey with them) and when i pointed this out, they added an inconsequential amount. this branch needs to take notes from colliers wood branch. my friend was eating after 12 hours and a very long day of studying, and remarked that she wouldve rather starved and gone home. the toilets boasted such a pungent smell that i almost vomited the burger right back up in the 20 seconds i spent in there trying to wash my hands. awful stuff (except the chips,...
