I recently visited Khyber Grill, an Afghan restaurant located in Seven Kings, Essex, and I have to say, I was thoroughly impressed with my experience. From the delicious food to the convenient parking, this restaurant is definitely worth checking out. Firstly, the mixed grill was a standout dish. The combination of juicy lamb chops, succulent chicken tikka, and tender seekh kebabs was a delight for the taste buds. Each bite was bursting with flavor, and I loved how the spices were not overpowering, but rather complemented the meats perfectly. Next up, the Kabli Pulao was another winner. The basmati rice was perfectly cooked and seasoned, and the tender chunks of lamb were a great addition to the dish. I also appreciated the subtle sweetness from the raisins and carrots that were mixed in. The Chapli Kebab was also a highlight of the meal. The patties were packed with herbs and spices, giving them a unique and delicious flavor. They were cooked to perfection, with a nice crispy exterior and juicy center. Finally, the Afghani naan was a great accompaniment to the meal. It was soft and fluffy with a nice charred flavor from being cooked in the tandoor. The parking situation was also a plus. I visited on a Saturday and was pleasantly surprised to find free parking across the street. It made the whole experience much more convenient and stress-free. Overall, I highly recommend Khyber Grill for anyone looking for authentic Afghan cuisine. The food was delicious, the parking was convenient, and the service was friendly and attentive. I will definitely be returning soon.

I recently dined at Khyber Grill, and I feel compelled to share my experience. Unfortunately, it saddens me to report an incident of severe mistreatment towards fellow customers. It is disheartening to witness such behavior within an establishment that should prioritize customer satisfaction and safety. I stand in solidarity with the victims who were subjected to this unjust treatment. Their courage in reporting the incident to the authorities is commendable. I fully support their decision to involve the police, as no one should endure such abuse. It is imperative that the legal process unfolds to uncover the truth and hold those responsible accountable. I encourage anyone who witnessed this incident to come forward and share their account. Together, we can ensure that justice is served, providing support to those affected and preventing similar incidents in the future. As a concerned patron, I sincerely hope that the necessary measures will be taken to address this matter appropriately. It is essential for the reputation and credibility of the establishment to prioritize the safety and well-being of their customers. In light of these events, I urge the restaurant management to take prompt action, conducting a thorough internal investigation, and implementing any necessary changes to prevent such incidents from recurring. My thoughts are with the victims, and I hope that they find solace and justice in this difficult situation. Let us all come together to promote a safe and respectful environment for everyone.

Lovely restaurant on the high road. The time we went in the evening you can park on main road or car park opposite restaurant. We pre-ordered the food due to Ramadan. The staff were very friendly and gave us some fruit, dates and rose water drink to break our fast. The staff also gave 1 small plate of pakora, we had to ask for another plate as we had a large group. We then went to the Seven King Mosque which is a few minutes walk away. When we returned we waited for our food. Staff had to be reminded a couple of time. At one point one the staff said she thought we had left even though we said we were going prayers. Half an hour later the food arrived. The portions were very generous, food and spice smelt lovely and the food was hot. The grill mix could be a bit better was very basic compared to Kebabish a few doors away, chops and meat a bit over cooked. The rice, chicken and meat curry and nan were very tasty. Mango lassi was perfect just right! It all went well with our group members everybody enjoyed their iftar (breaking of fast). The restaurant was very clean and tidy and very busy in the evening lots of families for iftar meals.

Khyber Grill Seven Kings Khyber Grill is a culinary gem that leaves a lasting impression with its remarkable combination of immense space, impeccable hygiene, and exceptional food. Stepping inside, one is immediately struck by the sheer scale of the restaurant. The dining area is vast and thoughtfully laid out, providing a sense of openness and comfort that is often missing in other establishments. This expansive design ensures that even on a busy night, patrons can enjoy their meal without feeling cramped or rushed, making it an ideal venue for large gatherings or a relaxed dinner. The commitment to cleanliness at Khyber Grill is truly commendable. The restaurant is spotless, from the polished floors to the gleaming cutlery. The kitchen, visible to some diners, is a testament to their high standards, operating with an efficiency and cleanliness that inspires confidence. It is reassuring to dine in an environment where hygiene is clearly a top priority, reflecting the management's dedication to providing a safe and pleasant experience for all. This scrupulous attention to detail extends to the washrooms as well, which are maintained to an equally high standard. However, the true star of Khyber Grill is, without a doubt, the food. The menu is a delightful exploration of flavors, with each dish prepared with precision and passion. The kebabs are succulent and perfectly grilled, a harmonious blend of spices and tender meat. The curries are rich and aromatic, with a depth of flavor that speaks of slow cooking and authentic recipes. Whether you're a fan of spicy dishes or prefer something milder, the menu offers a wide variety to satisfy every palate. The portions are generous, ensuring that you get excellent value for your money. The quality of the ingredients is evident in every bite, from the fresh vegetables to the premium cuts of meat. In conclusion, Khyber Grill is a standout restaurant that excels in every key area. Its vast and welcoming space, coupled with an unwavering commitment to hygiene, creates a perfect backdrop for an extraordinary dining experience. The delicious, high-quality food is the crowning glory, making a visit here a truly memorable occasion. It’s more than just a meal; it’s a feast...

Rude, Racist, Discriminatory and Misogynistic.

Unfortunately, I can only rate this ridiculous establishment 1 out of 5 instead of a zero and in reality it should just be closed down. I dropped off my mother and aunt this evening to have dinner and within 10 minutes they had to leave the restaurant. From the minute my mother arrived she was not greeted well. She wanted to sit down in an unoccupied table and was told that it was reserved which she obviously did not know, as it was not written. A lady approached her asking how many individuals were going to be seated (5 out of 8 seats would be taken), after my mother answered the lady left the table and reported to a man who seemed to be the manager. The manager came to move my mother to a smaller table in between big groups of men, which was not ideal for a hijabi lady which they (muslim management) should know and understand. Just to point out that there were other tables that anyone else could have been sat on - especially because my mum had arrived first and booked earlier on. Now when my mother raised this, the man said he does not care and kept using hand gestures to scurry her away - like an animal - to the table between the big groups of men and then added that if she does not like where she has been put she should get out. Which type of restaurant has management that treats customers in such a way? Just because they are not from Afghanistan or even Asian? To my surprise no one spoke up for my mum and as she was leaving she did tell the muslim men off for not speaking up when another muslim man was targeting her. The manager then proceeded to say “yes, if you were an Asian lady I would have let you sit anywhere you wanted.” I have never heard anything so distasteful and upsetting. DO NOT KEEP THIS PLACE...
