When I think of this pub one name comes to mind and that’s Jemma. Being new to London UK it can be very nerve racking visiting restaurants/pubs on your own. Jemma greeted me with open arms she did not make me feel like a tourist! She explained the menu to me as well made some amazing recommendations that I could order from the menu! Not long after I happened to be serviced by Jemma again at a private function that was located here! Everyone I was with was excited to finally meet this amazing bar tender/server I was raving about! Just like she did for me, she made everyone at the function feel super welcomed, despite the amount of pressure she must have been under with such a big crowd! We actually thought she was the manager, that’s how amazing she is! She truly is fantastic at what she does and because of her we will continue to return to...

I've celebrated a birthday at the Kings Store with family and friends and couldn't have wished for a nicer experience! The food was amazing and received praise from everyone. The function room upstairs is comfortable, looks nice and adapts well to different sizes of parties and has its own bar so we didn't need to go downstairs. Massive thanks to our great host who was with us the entire evening to help with everything as well as thanks to the rest of the team who were all super friendly and helpful at all times. I had pre-ordered vegetarian boards and mixed boards as well as portions of chicken wings and cheese straws, which in sum was a very nice dinner buffet, see pictures. In total: Kings Stores is the perfect venue to host a gathering with fantastic food and a great variety of drinks in a friendly atmosphere without...

My husband and I came in on a Sunday lunch. The place started to get full after 1 pm. The waitress gave some suggestions on what's good. My husband got the roasted chicken and I had the pork belly with apple sauce. The pork belly was really good. I really love it when the meat is soft and the fat just melted when you chew it. My husband said that his chicken was tasty. He didn't really rave about it. Anyway, there were a lot of sides on our plate such as yorkshire pudding, potatoes and sweet potatoes, gravy, brocolli and kale, I think. They were all good but I couldn't finish my whole plate. It was a lot. We had the sticky toffee for desert. Oh my gosh! That was so good. It's like there's a small cake with toffee syrup and ice cream on top.
