This is a new business so I hate to leave this review. BUT I have to be honest as all the prior reviews say amazing things and we were extremely disappointed! Also to the owner please take this as constructive criticism! 1)Korean fried chicken should be dry without a coating. It was more like chicken bites and not pieces of chicken, the sauce has a weird taste and it would have been better crispy. 2)The fried rice, 1 smelt sour so it was bad/off the other 1 was okay, it didn't taste bad in flavour but we were put off. 3)Macaroni cheese was bland and dry. A crispy topping and mature cheddar goes a long way. 4)The beef was chewy and didn't taste great. 5)The jumbo grilled prawns were not cooked properly and had no flavour. Use a dry rub spice in butter or just plain garlic and onion to spice them up (old bay seasoning). 6)Plantain needs to be ripe and sweet, these were hard and tasteless. Does not need black pepper on top! 7)The noodles were coated in something which made them clammy, veg noodles are so simple but these were like pasta noodles not wok fry! The staff are attentive and lovely and the concept is great! However....the food is a big miss! The chef needs to rethink combinations and flavours. If your going for Asian and Caribbean inspired flavours you got to get it right! I would love to try this again in future but improvements need to be made!

I’ve been to this restaurant before and had a good experience, but yesterday was by far the worst experience I’ve ever had at any restaurant. The food was absolutely terrible—burnt to the point where ash was coming out of it. When I politely mentioned this to the server, his response was shocking. He dismissively said, “That’s how we do it here. If you don’t like it, it’s your fault.” Who does he think he’s talking to? That level of arrogance and disrespect is unacceptable. To make matters worse, he kept going on about how he didn’t charge me for the drinks, as if that excused the terrible food. First of all, if you’re going to offer free drinks, don’t keep throwing it in the customer’s face. Secondly, free drinks don’t make burnt, cold food taste any better. It was honestly insulting. The rest of the food was cold, the service was rude, and paying £15 for such an experience felt like daylight robbery. I left feeling completely disappointed and ripped off. I’m not sure what’s happened to this place, but based on this experience, I definitely won’t be returning. Sort out the quality of your food and your customer service.

As you can see from the photo we many varied items from the menu to really give this place a accurate review and find out about the hype...it was disappointing tk say the least. Pepper steak was unbarrable to eat as it was really over done with pepper, the rice didn't taste well maybe wasn't fresh, plantain was standard, Korean chicken was really just some sweet sour sauce on pieces of chicken the wings were tasty but really didn't taste fresh, the staff was very helpful, but at some point the owner walked through and just no acknowledgement of our service or anything pretty arrogant to be honest. This place is not worth it was upset about the money I spent for the disappointing outcome.

I recently had the pleasure of trying out komi palm, and I must say, it was an absolutely delightful experience! From the moment I placed my order to the very last bite, everything exceeded my expectations.

First and foremost, the menu offered an impressive array of options, catering to various tastes and dietary preferences. Whether you're a meat lover, a vegetarian, or looking for something vegan-friendly, there's something here for everyone. The online ordering process was seamless, and the estimated delivery time was right on the mark, making it even more convenient.

The food itself was a feast for the senses! The aromas wafting from the takeaway container as I opened it at home were irresistible. Each dish was beautifully presented and looked as appetizing as it tasted. The flavors were rich, balanced, and authentic. I could tell that the ingredients used were fresh and of high quality. The dishes managed to retain their authenticity without compromising on taste, and that's a sign of a truly talented kitchen.

I particularly enjoyed the mac and cheese with the lemon pepper salmon —it was bursting with flavor and left me craving for more. The noodles was also a standout; the perfect complement to the main course. I appreciated the attention to detail in each dish, and it felt like a lot of thought and care went into the preparation.

Another aspect that impressed me was the packaging. The takeaway containers were sturdy and well-sealed, ensuring that the food arrived in perfect condition. No spills or messes here!

The portion sizes were generous, and I even had some leftovers for the next day. Excellent value for money, I must say!

Moreover, the delivery personnel were friendly and professional. My order arrived right on time, and they were careful to maintain hygiene protocols. It's evident that customer satisfaction is a top priority for komi palm.

In conclusion, komi palm is a true gem when it comes to takeout options. It offers a diverse and delectable menu, exceptional flavors, and top-notch customer service. If you're looking to treat yourself to a delightful dining experience at home, I highly recommend giving them a try. I'll certainly be ordering from them again soon!

Thank you, komi palm, for making my evening so enjoyable...
