Kosmopol — Restaurant in London

Kosmopol is by far my No.1 favourite cocktail bar and club and go-to place in London. I’ve been going there for over 15 years and the place never loses its novelty.

The cocktails are always spot, the service is amazing and the bartenders are incredibly quick, even when taking big orders with the club being very busy – they also keep the place super clean. As for the DJ and music, you won’t find a better club to spend your night if you want to listen to good music and dance for the entire evening – they have a great sound system too.

The staff there from bartenders to security and management are extremely professional when dealing with customers – this place cannot be faulted even if I were to try and start nitpicking . We had our office Christmas at Kosmopol and I would hands down recommend this place for any event from a cosy date to large party bookings. I even suggest this place to people that visit London for short stays when they travel from abroad, especially on the weekends, since I can stick my neck out and guarantee them a fantastic evening to contribute to a brilliant London experience.

Definitely a place to shout loud about.

great cocktails and I even experiment and made one of them together with the bartenders. very friendly staff behind the bar, meaningful conversations and a lot of fun from the chat. who really surprised me was the face control at the entrance to the bar. when I went out to smoke a cigarette, we first had a nice conversation and shared impressions about experiments in drinks and their effect on the body, but one of the topics of conversation caused absolutely inadequate behavior from the him and, in my opinion, unreasonable behavior. he began to talk to me aggressively, I was so shocked by the sudden change that I began to apologize for maybe suddenly saying something wrong, he didn’t like even more that I was apologizing and he continued to be rude to me. then I realized that the aggression was not going away, the man was talking to me in a voice full of anger and I decided to ask the bartenders if this was normal, I explained the situation and they were even more surprised than me. The place itself is wonderful and I visited it every time I came to London, which is almost five years in a row, and after this situation, unfortunately, I absolutely don’t want to go there anymore, knowing that I will be met at the entrance by...

Terrible place and v rude service, particularly from the manager, Joanna. Was there for a birthday celebration, clearly a mistake in choice of venue. Bar staff removed our drinks from the designated smoking area, refused to acknowledge (and were themselves drinking…) and when we enquired (three people) about our drinks (which were new) two of us were given a new drink to replace the ones that had been removed while the third of our group wasn’t. When we asked Joanna about this, she was not happy. In fact she was so irritated and aggrieved by the question that our group was asked to leave, without being able to say goodbye to our party, not to our friend who’s birthday it was. Honestly - the thing is - management shouldn’t be drinking on the job and in the service industry you really need to treat clientele better. Kosmopol is not a great place, wouldn’t recommend. Much better places in Chelsea you can go to, where they understand that it’s atmosphere, people and service that make a place great....
