Krispy Kreme London Bridge — Restaurant in London

Careful using this store for click and collect if you’re in a hurry. Turned up to pick up 2 dozen doughnuts ordered 2 days prior, to a story of how the order must have been accidentally put out and sold. No problem, they had boxes and plenty supply of choose your own doughnuts even if I had little time before a train.

Cue rapid box making movement and doughnut picking but unfortunately it’s wasn’t that simple and we went back to the backstory of how the click and collect was supposed to work.

After suggesting that the problem was very easily solved, firmly, several times, grumpy Krispy Kreme chap sulked away (probably as I wasn’t interested in the backstory) and more helpful Krispy Kreme chap fulfilled my order.

I suggested to turn an unfortunate situation into a great customer experience the backstory was far less important that the reality of sending me on my way happy with heroically fast doughnut packing. 😊To be honest it is not me it is my people who like doughnuts here,Krispy Kreme and I had chance to try one of them which tasted to me not a donut but just dough and some sugar on it.

🧐After all I never understood,why people like these doughnuts so much,whether it is due to lack of cooking culture or lack of love, affection or social interactions.

🎊I then tried out a doughnut from Lidl and it tasted just as good as Krispy Kreme but at a fraction of the price.( I am not a paid Lidl reviewer)
