Kukus Piri Piri — Restaurant in London

I’d driven past this place countless times but nothing motivated me to every pop in or order from them. My incorrect perception was that they’d be mediocre at best.

Having tried most places locally, I opted to try Kukus and to my surprise, it was really good! I should have tried them earlier.

Kukus offers peri peri menu items along with a few other variants including gourmet burgers, kebab wraps etc. We ordered wings, peri peri burger and kebab wrap amongst a few other things. We really enjoyed the food and would happily substitute Nandos for their offering. The peri fries were moreish and much better than offerings elsewhere. The only letdown was the hummus which was just standard fare but the rest of it was on point.

Kukus will now be receiving future...

They had good chicken but as they’re no longer HMC certified, I don’t bother due to the risk of the chicken being machine slaughtered. I do go in for their peri-peri chips occasionally, but now they’re even skimping on their sauces. I ordered 3 chips & the guy only said I can have 2 sauces. On another occasion, I ordered 2 chips & he only gave me 1 sauce. Just petty really. If 3 different people walked in & bought a portion of chips each, then they would get a sauce each anyway. Stingy & just typical narrow minded...

Food is absolutely delicious the best beef burger in England so succulent and the flavour OMG i get it every week (getting fat) but can't resist it. It has topped all burgers I tried like its better than all high end restaurants burgers as I been to many restaurants and food places and nothing has topped it! I also love their chicken wings always piping hot and spicy and the chips are PERFECT. hats off to the Chef - deserves a Michelin star. The staff always read my notes and follow it through. Amazing thank you!...
