L'Amandine Café London — Restaurant in London

That was incidental, one-off visit on some random Saturday morning. I was greeted with smile at the moment I started opening the door, then politely welcomed, offered some breakfast (I had no idea what I actually want, they helped me to choose (and be happy with my choice) in less than 15 seconds. Freshly squeezed orange juice, awesome scrambled eggs, smiling customers and - which is pretty important - patient personnel dealing with young children with humour and grace, topped with excellent coffee and very moderate bill... I definitely won't be seeking other place when in the area; well, probably in couple of months, but still.... it's simply starred on my map - I want...

I've only had the pleasure of eating here twice now (both occasions, breakfast) but each time the service has been very warm and friendly. The food it's self has been superb - not only delicious but generous to boot. My son and I are big eaters, and we never leave feeling hungry.

I'm from Norwich (yeah, a long way to go even for an L'Amandine b'fast!) but my son is now at UNI nearby, so whenever I visit him, we always partake.

Please don't bother with your run of the mill 'Spoons', pop here. You won't be disappointed. The prices too are very reasonable - even compared with...

Ordered scrambled eggs with salmon on toast and asked one of the guys to add a side salad. I was informed that a side salad was like a 0,75p or something like that, but instead they guy on the till charged me 2.50£ for a small side salad.. well didn’t say anything but yes they need to have a meeting on and discuss a bit about what prices they shall charge guess. 😜💪 don’t get me wrong I don’t mind paying the extra (obviously) but not the one waitress tells me one price and I get to pay a different, what If I had no more money with me that day? Just saying....
