I’ve been going to this shop when it was just a little stall, just for their gol gappe/ pani puri (what ever you call it). Now, because the shop is famous,… they put the prices so high, but I’m still happy to pay it because you are getting the right Pakistani taste you want.. The real problem is they made the prices higher though the quantities are lesser.. Last time I went there with my friends, we had samosa chat, then 2 plates of dahi bhalle and in last we had a family pack gol gappe for four people, the quantity of the sauces, and even the chane and pani was so less that it feed two people maximum and when we asked for the pani she said we have to pay for it..! That make it not nicer experience here anymore..

I enjoy visiting this place over weekends after my movie show. I mostly eat in and my experience with food, service was always excellent. Majority of the time I was served by gentleman, he humble and takes care of his customers. Today, the experience was not the same when it was lady’s t the counter. I ordered Chicken Biryani and Pani Puri Gol Gappe as take away. Not sure why but, she was angry and not polite too. I asked for paper but she did sound rude. To my surprise, there was no Green chutney or raita with Chicken Biryani. Even Pani puri was put altogether. It became chat by the time I reached home. Pani puri photo is attached.

Another ordinary eating place in Ilford Lane, nothing special! Price is reasonable I guess but probably not a great value for money. Dahi balla, it’s just one piece in a big bowl, for a price of £6.50 I guess that’s not really great. Panipuri is just ok, however their falooda the flagship item, the item which the cafe is named after, is plainly disappointing. It’s a pre-made item in a plastic cup kept in the fridge, not made to order!! The inside of the cafe had a very weird odd smell, as if some food went bad. And to top it off they only take cash! Not somewhere I would fancy to come back.

Before I ordered i asked short guy do you have kulfi falooda and chilled he said yes and then i asked how much he said £6, i said ok give me one and paid £6 coins, i was shocked to see what he did next, He opened fridge door and took already made falooda then opened one plastic bag that had ice inside and put that in my falooda then he took few cubes of i dont know what that was he said khoya from bare hands no gloves and he took coins from me before with same hands and then took out cubes of khoya from bag. He didn’t wash his hands I was shocked by all the experience and left. Just to reiterate they don’t have kulfi falooda I gave my kid falooda he said it is warm. So falooda must have been made days ago and kept in fridge which barely kept it cold. Secondly using bare hands for food they may do this in india and pakistan but this is not allowed in uk. I will be writing to council about this unhygienic place. I would say avoid this place, you will definitely...

Taken a visit to the Lahori Kulfi and Falooda, but unfortunately my friend and I had to walk out, this was not a light decision, especially we ordered our food, however, seeing fly’s around the food felt unsafe to eat, I politely told the female staff member who was serving asking should they not be covering the displayed food items. Honestly I was absolutely shocked to see her defensive response, although I told her that I have visited the place previously and eaten, and found to be clean, she failed to listen and her body language was so abrupt and ignorant and it felt if she could she would’ve told me to ‘get out’ but in this occasion she did asked us to leave. The sister failed to understand the importance of environmental health and FSA rule, which I understand because she thinks it’s Pakistan so good can be served to customers as she like! I told her that I wouldn’t be unwise to make a report to the authorities, and rather prefer her taking my...

I always get biryani from them, the lady charges me £7.50 but when I went today she said £9 for chicken biryani and £10.50 for lamb biryani. She comes up with some weird prices. I asked her to give me lamb biryani so she started putting the biryani in the container and was keeping the lamb on the side. She gave me really bad pieces of lamb and the lamb was not cooked fully, it was raw. So, I would give them 1 out of 10 for the lamb biryani. Now the staff, lady at the counter with straight nose and blush on her face thinks she is a supermodel and is only working there out of necessity. She was talking to her colleague with disrespect. She is a rude girl and shows a lot of attitude. Dude, chill out and show some respect to your customers. I didn't like the rude and disrespectful behavior and I won't go there again....
