Completely Disrespectful and Hostile Treatment

I honestly can’t believe I’m writing this, but after my experience at Chester’s last night with my sister, I feel compelled to share. We’re both very patient people and fully understand how hectic it can get working in a restaurant, especially with a lot of orders. But when we placed our order, the restaurant wasn’t busy at all. Then it got busier . There was absolutely no reason why we should have been the last ones to receive our food. Yet, despite being there first, every single person who came in after us—whether they ordered one meal or multiple—was served before us. We were the only ones left waiting, and it was so clear that we were being ignored.

It was uncomfortable and honestly felt hostile, especially considering we were the only non-Asian customers in the shop. The entire situation made it painfully obvious to us that they were prioritizing their own race over us. That’s how we saw it, and that’s the truth. It felt like our presence wasn’t valued, and we were completely disregarded.

When the food finally arrived, it was just as disappointing as the wait. The spicy burger was the worst I’ve ever had—tasted like frozen chicken and was barely edible. The fries were cold, and the cheese wasn’t even melted. I rarely leave bad reviews, but the way we were treated was so blatantly unfair, and the food didn’t redeem the experience. Chesters have a good name all around but some of its branches are not taken care off. I went to this Chester after 1 year and bitterly disappointed again with the level of service i received. This time i have to write something so management should do something about it. Food is good, that's why i rated 4 depending on other factors but customer service is appalling. Staff dont smile or look at you when you order like you dont even exist. They have lots of attitude serving you.

I requested mega mix but guy said we dont have strips, i said ok make it double fillet I'll pay extra, he said we dont do it. I said seven kings branch or anyone from chicken shop they always do when you pay extra, he said we dont do. Even though other customers were also customising their deals. I asked for peri naan and guy said it will take more than 20 mins😱 Then i asked his name (not going to mention here as i dont want anyone to get into trouble) and requested with his name please brother give me something. He rudely said again that menu is at the back. I dont know what was wrong with him. He had plenty of opportunity to be nice but he ignored. Then i got the tower meal and even then he made a funny face like he didn't want to work or didn't want to serve me.

I eat from Chester's seven kings 2-3 times a week after my work and this time i was around ilford so i went there. I'm disgust with this customer service and never going back there again. Only writing this long review as i am a loyal and returning customer so want this...
