Updated Review (August 2025): Went for a bottomless brunch and had a very positive experience. Placed an order for drinks in the booking and they were given to us almost as soon as we sat down, the atmosphere was lovely and quite quiet for a Saturday afternoon. The servers were extremely attentive and came over every 10 minutes to ask if we wanted more drinks (amazing during a bottomless brunch) and we had numerous drinks on the go at once (unlike other establishments that limit to 1 at a time). Drinks were fantastic and food was nice and even though there was some confusion over my partners order, this was rectified and we were only charged the meal top-up price as opposed to a second order. Would happily return and very happy to see the restaurant now matches my experiences prior to my 2023 review.
Original Review (August 2023): Went on a Saturday evening, atmosphere was nice, we were shown to a table promptly and food arrived very quickly. The food was nice, though portion size was a little small for the price. However after ordering a second round of drinks when the food arrived, service really slowed down. My partner saw our drinks sitting at the bar for over 15 minutes, by the time they arrived we had finished our food and were ready to order dessert, however the waiter didn't stop. After sitting for another 20 minutes waiting for someone to clear our empty plates and glasses and order more, we gave up and paid using the app then left. I was looking forward to the churros and we both wanted another drink however the service was so slow and strangely seemed to get slower as more staff clocked in even though there were only 8 or 9 other parties in the restaurant at the time. Unlikely to return which is a shame as I was glad to hear one was opening in Ealing having had several great experiences in...
Read moreDay - 2. This was my second visit there just the following day. This time, I have food with family. The food was good and decent. My daughter had a kids' meal, which my daughter loved. We had the chicken wings and the spicy cauliflower fries. The chicken was jot that good, but the cauliflower was awesome. The curly fries are to die for. Hadn't had any fries better than these earlier. The service was very good, though. The waiting lady was very courteous and helpful. She immediately recognized me from last evening. It's a shame I couldn't ask her name. The cocktails are a little pricey, though. Which I felt, especially after visiting The Turtle Bay. I am still increasing one.more star for them. In my original post, I rated them 3 stars.
Day - 1. For a very long time, I was looking forward to visiting this place, especially after coming back from Spain and having hands-on experience about its drinks and food. Unfortunately, I didn't try the food/tapas as I was not hungry at all. Tried the drinks, though, but it was Unfortunately not yp to the standards. People who actually know their drinks/ cocktails should not have high expectations from this place as they don't make cocktails from scratch but use premixes, which is a strict no-no for me. I ordered a LIIT, long Island Ised Tea, which is supposed to be one of the strongest cocktails, but it was extremely sweet, and it was tasting as if there was no alcohol at all. So I ordered shots, and to my disappointment, the shots were equally inefficient and almost non alcoholic 🙃. Anyways then I ordered straight drinks like vodka and bourbon whisky, and they were good but a bit expensive. Overall, it's a good place. Have plans to go there again tomorrow with family. Will...
Read moreWent to this place for our Christmas work lunch.
Came in and the manager was very curt about the email ( advising of our food choices to forewarn the kitchen ) he had received making the point that it was for 10 people and not for 11 OR 12 - the party was for 10. His attitude right off the batt was just plain rude and abrupt.
I mention this due to the fact that we sat down at 2pm and the food was provided 57 minutes after. The portions were also extremely disappointing. The curries has hardly any meat in. The frajita stacks at £19.50 for steak was so burned the meat was unrecognisable. It tasted sour. The prawns Gambas was also very sour, over powered by an ingredient that wasn’t listed in the description.
Same music over and over again. What a head ache.
The cocktail are just glasses of crushed ice.
Overall this menu looks impressive but this is the reason I normally avoid these chain restaurants. The standard of the food was quite frankly not good enough for the price that they charge. It’s totally over rated.
I’m annoyed at the managers attitude when he couldn’t deliver on the service ( we were asked after we had finished if the food was okay ) and the food was very late and not good at all . Table of 10 no one rated their food as good. In fact we spent the lunch talking about other places that were better to eat in Ealing.
Extremely disappointing !!! save yourself the time and the money and don’t bother with this place. Ealing needs more clothes shop instead of these sub par restaurants clogging up the high street with managers thinking they’re Kings of their mediocre...
