I have visited this store many times across many occasions, including birthdays and university celebrations. However yesterdays visit has been an all time worse. I had ordered the chilli chicken ramen and the pork gyoza. The chilli chicken ramen while nice lacked any considerable flavour when savoured, meanwhile the gyoza was the let down of the meal. Bearly warm. With no flavor other then that of the taste of grease/oil and some spring onion chucked on the playe not even in the square sized placement. The best part of the meal being whole leaf tea consumed. What's even worse was the bill. As shown the gyoza were given £2 off due to me having an ealing project membership. However as calculated below the full price of the gyoza has been included within the service charge. Now as somebody who had worked in west end hospitality across multiple events and venue this is completely unheard of. Slow service furthermore say downstairs waiting for the bill, got tired of waiting and carried bith my empty teapot and cup upstairs while the staff was chatting Please get this under control, as I love comming here but after this experiance it is making me question why I do. 2 STARS cause i know it's not always like this

I came with not much expectation because I had another ramen across the street that was terrible. But now I am sure this is a good one around. A real ramen shop; the ramen noodles are handmade and you can really feel it from the texture. The soup is also very clear. The egg is included and you don’t need to pay extra to add it on top. We had: 1. Tonkotsu (the most traditional!! Classic taste) Thin-cut noodles, sea salt base, roast pork belly, bamboo shoots, beansprouts & burnt garlic oil. 2. Geki Kara (spicy!! But amazing base) Classic noodles, enriched soy sauce base, fermented scotch bonnet mash, roast pork belly & kikurage. 3. Tokyo (delicious and clear soup) Soy sauce base, marinated & braised pork belly. Edamame perfectly tender and Karaage Chicken - fresh. EDIT: Came here three times, the food is good but is sometimes inconsistent. The third time I had the Chicken Kara-age, it was so over-cooked over-fried that I asked the waitress for help. She was relatively cool and suggested I tried it first, still nice enough to give us a new one that was less overcooked, however her attitude was a bit cool and just left the new plate here without saying a word. Lots of flies in the summer.

Tonkotsu Ealing has left an indelible mark on my taste buds with its amazing ramen offerings. The menu is a treasure trove of flavors, and I was particularly impressed by the homemade shitake gyoza. The intricate blend of textures and the burst of umami in each bite made it a standout dish. Now, let's talk about the Tonkotsu ramen – an experience that's hard to match elsewhere. Creamy in texture but surprisingly light, it redefines what a satisfying bowl of ramen can be. The richness of the broth and the perfectly cooked noodles create a harmony that's not just tasty but downright delightful. Tonkotsu Ealing has mastered the art of crafting ramen that goes beyond the ordinary. The attention to detail in each dish and the commitment to quality make it a top-tier ramen destination. If you find yourself in Ealing and have a penchant for exceptional ramen, this is the place to be. I can't wait to return and savor more of their culinary masterpieces.
