I recently had the pleasure of dining at Las Iguanas with a group of friends, and I must say it was a fantastic experience from start to finish. The lively atmosphere, coupled with the delicious and diverse menu, made for a memorable evening.
The restaurant's ambiance is vibrant and welcoming, with colorful decor that immediately transports you to the heart of Latin America. The staff were incredibly friendly and attentive, adding to the overall positive impression. special Claudia
Now, let's talk about the food. The menu at Las Iguanas is a culinary journey through Latin American flavors, offering a wide array of dishes to satisfy every palate. We started with the nachos, which were loaded with cheese, guacamole, and salsa – a perfect way to kick off our meal.
For the main course, I opted for the Feijoada, a Brazilian black bean stew with smoked pork and chorizo. The rich and savory flavors were simply exquisite, and the portion size was generous. My friends tried the Moqueca de Peixe and the Xinxim, both of which received high praises for their authenticity and taste.
What sets Las Iguanas apart is their commitment to catering to various dietary preferences. There are plenty of options for vegetarians, and the menu clearly labels gluten-free choices, ensuring that everyone can enjoy a flavorful meal.
To complement our dishes, we indulged in some of their signature cocktails. The Caipirinhas were expertly crafted, and the range of flavors available left us spoiled for choice.
Although the restaurant was bustling, the service remained prompt and attentive. Our server took the time to explain the menu and offer recommendations, enhancing our overall dining experience.
In conclusion, Las Iguanas is a must-visit for anyone looking to embark on a culinary journey through Latin America. The combination of a lively atmosphere, friendly service, and mouthwatering dishes makes it a top choice for a night out with friends or a special occasion. I can't wait to return and explore more...
Read moreTerrible service. Wouldn’t dare walking into the restaurant 2 hours before they close, as the waiters will not hide the fact that they want you to leave. They will ignore you stood at the door for ages pretending they can’t see you (probably hoping you’d leave.) Service is put on every bill apparently, even if it’s a bill for a drink and the service was lacklustre. Had to wait 20 minutes to get a waiters attention. Had my tapa taken away from me when I wasn’t actually done, the waiter didn’t ask or look at me she just took it off the table. I asked to be able to order from my table as everything was taking so long and the waiter told me she’d serve me then ignored me. Asked for water 3 times and never received. Lights and music turned up before 10pm. Asked the waitress what time the branch was closing and she said 9.30pm. Google advertises the restaurant as being open until 10pm, they ended up still serving until quarter to. I went to the toilet before I was leaving and as I came back to the table to get my phone, the waitress said to me “sorry we are closed now.” I wasn’t trying to order anything I was just getting my phone and leaving. It wasn’t even 10 minutes after 10pm. If the restaurant is supposed to close at 9.30pm it should be advertised as such on Google. As I was leaving the waiters were closing around me and completely ignored me, not even a thank you for paying service on both villa when I had absolutely 0 service whatsoever. I’d rather walk up to the bar and give a cash tip to the bartenders who made my lovely drinks than pay for the service that I just received. Would not recommend. Doubt I’ll return. It’s very evident why every other restaurant in the outlet was a lot busier, even Frankie and Benny’s had more tables - I should have known better. You’re better off going to the Ealing Broadway branch if you actually want to enjoy your evening and not feel like you’re burdening the...

I was here yesterday at 19:10 hrs with my mom and dad who are senior citizens. At the waiting area I was acknowledged by a waitress who was rude and started off only by telling us the waiting would be 40 minutes without any greetings.
She than asked me if I had a booking and to be honest I didn’t have one, requested for a table for three and again she went on by saying 40 min waiting literally she didn’t want us to come in. I repeated my self asking her if there was a table …than she accused me for being rude over and over again, I guess she was stressed as it looked liked they were understaffed…
she than literally threw the menus on one of the table next to the door which made me feel really embarrassed among the whole guest sitting in there …I requested her to call the manager (Daniela) who was amazing and instantly sorted the whole situation
Whilst sitting I observed and it was confirmed that it was busy and unstaffed however, it doesn’t give staff the right to be rude and discriminate…the table on right and left to us were served and cleared too with great service leaving me and my family feeling uncomfortable and awkward. I requested to kindly review the cctv to acknowledge the inconsistencies and bad behaviour in service at this location …
I would highly recommend this restaurant as I always visit however this individual just destroyed the whole reputation of this chain.
Honestly, worst customer service ever ruined my day out with my parents …such people should not be working who discriminate !!!!
19:15 hrs to roughly 20:15 January 27th...
