Gorgeous restaurant. However, unfortunately it's definitely the case of more style than substance. Very expensive and not worth the price. Left disappointed. We had the Kobe Fried Chicken, quesadilla, cigars and burger plus cocktails. KFC £15. Ok. Crispy fried chicken. The sauce was decent. I expected a bit more in the flavour department for 4 pieces. 3/10 We were eating the last piece and and a over zealous waiter had his hand to take the plate away, I told him to leave it and he kept trying to take it away then my partner told him to leave it and he still took it away. Quesadillas. £24 Good flavour. Obviously small. 6/10 Chicken Cigars £16 Average. Soggy. 3/10 Burger Bomb £29 At almost 30. I thought this must be an out of this world burger. Unfortunately it's not even a 10 pound burger. Mcdonald's sell better burgers than this. The bread to meat ratio was way off. The bread was not beautifully soft rather was a bit stale. The meat was average and over cooked, I was hoping for deep complex meaty flavours. It fell dramatically short. The chips were nice and hot but I think may have been frozen chips, nothing wrong with eating frozen chips but at this price, i would expect them to be made in house. The burger could also have done with salt. Also the burger came out luke warm, I'd prefer my burgers hot thanks. 2/10 Cocktails. Tasted nice but needed to actually have alcohol. We had 4 and they had nice flavour but lacked any Booze. Service Apart from the over zealous waiter. Service was good. Prompt and polite.

What a delightful find in Chelsea Green, a Bistro specialising in its namesake ā€˜Beef’. Some outstanding dishes were decadently indulged including these fabulous ones; Kobe Frickin’Chicken, Crab Tacos, Sea-bass Scarpetta Sashimi with Passion Fruit, Croque Tuna (OMG insanely good) all as starters to share. Followed by……The Crying Tiger with New York Strip, Ultimate Smash Cheeseburger with Classic Fries, JalapeƱo Mash (don’t judge first try) & a House Green Salad! All lovingly prepared & washed down with a seemingly never ending supply of some seriously addictive & delicious Caipirinhas. So, the much desired outside seating (yes basically on the road but screened, you know the type, hold on to your phones) has 4 tables. Question, would I sit here again as opposed to being inside? Answer; I’d sit inside. We didn’t experience the inside until the license to be served outside by 10pm was reached, where upon we moooved inside. By which time there were only 3 tables with what I’d call ā€˜remainder guests or The Hardcore’ and therefore the buzz of a fully booked restaurant was no longer there to be a part of. Delightful staff, looking after us to ensure allergies were acknowledged, gorgeous bespoke emoji opening plates (yes you need to buy them), food made with love, served beautifully, the serve wear is adorable, we left wanting more of the same on the next visit! Highly recommend.

We came here as part of our trip from Canada for our first wedding anniversary. We reserved almost 2 weeks ago and wanted the redefined meat steak. We were considering a Michelin star restaurant for our London wedding anniversary but chose this instead for the veggie steak. No one contacted us that this was not available (or other veggie mains) and they had our email address. We left a note that today is our wedding anniversary and you would think they would try to get in touch more than just a phone number. Clearly they wanted the business anyway.

They told us there were no vegetarian mains. As it was already past 8pm (too late to go to another restaurant) we decided to order the vegetarian appetizers (not all were in stock either - it wasn't just the steak frites option that was out). Already disappointing for anniversary dinner.

My wife did not enjoy the corn appetizer and only had a few bites. Then we heard the waiter offer another table a truffle pizza which was a vegetarian main!

Not only did the first waiter (who I believe was the manager) not mention this despite us asking for any veggie mains, the second waiter who came to our table and reintroduced himself and again told us there were no veggie mains! How did this not pop into either of their heads when all we wanted was a veggie main.

To cut the review short (there were other things but review is already too long), they charged us full price and full tip. We had to complain (which we absolutely hate doing - I've never not tipped in my life) and they just took off a single appetizer (still kept the £5 200ml coke though - absolutely tiny bottle). Waiter also did not understand concept of "discretionary service charge" and had to "ask manager" to remove the tip. The bill was still $85 Canadian for 1 app, 1 main (meat steak frites) and Coke. Thanks for ruining our 1st wedding...

My partner prebooked a table yesterday for our 8th anniversary. He stated this on our booking. The atmosphere when we walked in was nice. We were sat at our table and left with menus. When we went to order the sharing starter we chose, we were told it wasn't available, so our waiter left us for a few minutes... We then went to order again and we were told what we had chosen wasn't available, so my partner chose something else and to our suprise was told they didn't have what he ordered again. At this point my partner highlighted that all of this should have been stated at the start when we were seated and he was now annoyed.

I ordered the signature dish which I was then told was veal and if I wanted beef it would be an extra £10. On the menu it states 'steak frites' which one assumes is beef steak. I like veal so I was happy to have it.

I would like to highlight that the additional £10 sur charge for the option I was given is not on their menu.

When they brought our wine over, they brought over red and not white, which my partner spotted luckily before they opened the bottle.

So all in all, not the best start to our dining experience.

The next issue was the seating. Our waiter apologized to us multiple times for our chairs being knocked and bumped by staff members as we were sat right by the kitchen and at the end of a row of tables without enough room for people to pass.

The other problem was a saxophonist playing right next to the tables.... We couldn't hear each other talk.

We asked if we could move but were told no as they were full. Our waiter was embarrassed as he could see we were not enjoying our evening.

We spent £195 on a meal being bumped and unable to have a proper conversation.

Quite frankly was such a a disappointment and not the anniversary dinner we were expecting.

We had a very...

Overall, I had a wonderful dining experience at this high-end restaurant, with excellent food and top-notch service from Monica.

When we arrived at the restaurant, we were immediately impressed by the elegant decor and cozy atmosphere. The menu offered a great selection of dishes, including various cuts of steak and vegetarian options. Monica was our server for the evening, and we were blown away by her knowledge and helpfulness. She took the time to explain the different cuts of meat and made recommendations based on our preferences. Her attentiveness throughout the meal was impeccable, and she always made sure we had everything we needed.

The food itself was outstanding. Every dish was beautifully presented and bursting with flavour. The meat was tender and juicy, and the pasta was rich and satisfying.

Despite the excellent food and service, there was one downside to our experience, and that was the size of the restaurant. While the space was cozy and intimate, the tables were quite small and tightly packed together, which made it difficult to move around or even have enough space for our dishes. It felt a bit cramped and claustrophobic, which detracted somewhat from the overall experience. As a luxury restaurant, it would be beneficial to have more space or larger tables to provide a more comfortable dining experience.

Overall, I highly recommend Le Petit Beefbar for its fantastic food and excellent service, especially Monica's. If you don't mind the tight space and are looking for an intimate dining experience, this restaurant is definitely...
