My wife and I were stopped by a male employee when we were leaving the store at 20:53 after shopping (2025/05/13). I looked back, unsure, and was about to leave. He called me again and said, "Yes, it's you." I walked back with one of my M&S shopping bags and asked what was going on? He said I hadn't paid for an M&S shopping bag. I immediately indicated that this was my own M&S shopping bag. The male employee immediately stated that it was not he who said that, but another female employee next to him. I immediately told the female employee that the M&S bag in my hand was brought by myself. She said I saw you took the bag. Then she turned and left with a look of disdain. I showed off the other two Waitrose bags and reiterated that I had brought all three myself. I think you should check the CCTV records. The time was 20:31 on 2025/5/13. I checked the time on my iPhone when I entered the store because the store was about to close. You'll see the man in the photo in this article walking into the store with his wife, carrying an M&S bag over his shoulder. After you review the CCTV footage you will see how rude and unreasonable your behavior was. I am attaching the receipt from my purchase today as proof. I also have a receipt for purchasing this M&S shopping bag on 4/6/2025, which I have included in this article as proof. You two employees misunderstood customers who came to shop in your store without verifying the facts. This behavior is totally unacceptable. Can your company tolerate such behavior? Is this how your company...
Read moreAVOID THIS BRANCH ! My girlfriend and I visited the Marks & Spencer Kings road branch lately. We bought a few items, so we used the self checkout. There was a bearded Arab guy staring at us. One of the items didn’t scan properly, it was not our fault. Before I knew, the bearded guy was standing behind us looking over our shoulder and looking in our bags. He was leaning towards the till between my girlfriend and I, touching my back and my shoulder, which made me feel very uncomfortable. He was smiling and very eager to make a conversation, but all I wanted was to pay for my shopping and to go to my next appointment, as I am a busy GP. He went through every item in my bag, checking it was scanned, which of course was the case. All the time he was smiling and asking if we enjoyed our time in London. I thought, what a joker, please let me go, I haven’t done anything wrong. He made me feel like I was a criminal, It ruined my shopping experience and I will avoid this M&S branch next time. If others had a similar experience in this branch, please...
