I recently visited this restaurant and overall had a mix of highs and lows during the experience.
To start with the food – it was excellent. I had the lobster pasta, which was very nice: rich, flavourful, and cooked perfectly. We also ordered a few starters, and they were equally amazing, leaving a strong first impression.
Unfortunately, the service didn’t quite match up to the quality of the food. The waiter was a bit odd from the start. He offered to serve everyone their pasta when it arrived, which we appreciated. However, when the dishes came to the table, he was busy attending to another table. He asked us to “wait one minute,” but then disappeared entirely and never came back to serve us.
As the pasta was starting to go cold, we decided to serve ourselves. Oddly enough, the waiter reappeared moments later for some casual chit-chat, as though nothing had happened. He didn’t even acknowledge or apologise for forgetting to serve the pasta, which felt a little unprofessional. To top it off, he randomly asked us if we “also work in hospitality” – an unnecessary and slightly confusing question.
To sum up, the food was great and worth the visit, but the service left something to be desired. If the staff can improve their attentiveness and professionalism, this place could...

Read moreI recently had the pleasure of dining at Wild Tavern, and I must say, everything was top notch! From the food to the service and the atmosphere, the experience was exceptional. We started with the Beef Carpaccio and Artichoke Salad, both of which were absolutely delicious. The flavors were well-balanced and the presentation was impeccable. For the main course, we had the Linguine Lobster, which was outstanding. The pasta was perfectly cooked "al dente" and the lobster was tender and flavorful. To finish off our meal, we enjoyed a delightful cheesecake, and were pleasantly surprised with a belated birthday cannoli, generously given by the Sardinian Manager (we regret not catching your name). She was incredibly friendly and professional, as was our waiter Sorin, who provided excellent service throughout our visit. The atmosphere at Wild Tavern is warm and inviting, making it the perfect place for a special occasion or just a lovely lunch/dinner out. We cannot wait to come back! Thank you for the great hospitality and...
