Me and Mrs tried this place, upon arrival waitress had a lot of attitude. We called prior to coming and was told kitchen closes 22:45 we arrived 22:25, after saying we called and looking over to what had seemed to be a manager he said it were fine. I took it as it’s the end of the day maybe and just tried to move on.

We asked for virgin mojitos which wasn’t on the menu but the waitress said she could do it…she could not do it. It was basically soda water, with lime and mint and no sugar to taste. We asked if she could add some ā€œmoreā€ sugar… she tried several times to rectify but on the last attempt I felt bad so just accepted it as it was…very very terrible, Ice with lemon would have been better.

Starter Calamari was okay could have had a bit more crisp to it.

Our mains were the best bit, I had spag bol and the mrs the spicy chicken pasta they were decent portion.

The bill is where I’m very disappointed to be treated as such, the waitress charged us both individually Ā£10 each equating to Ā£20 for two terrible virgin mocktails which were very terrible the same price as an alcoholic mojito and when I asked her she gave this snarky comment didn’t even look my way so I ended up paying.

These two drinks were the only drinks we had no water or anything else and the bill came to £20 just for drinks alone

After careful consideration I told them that this were unacceptable either give us the ā€œshotsā€ equivalent to what would have been in the drinks, she then offered a refund in which the manager sorted and refunded Ā£8 charging us both Ā£6 for the mock tail which is the price on the menu for the other mock-tails. Do not buy any mock tails not worth the money when you can literally go two doors down and get an alcoholic 2 for 1 deal for near enough same price.

I rarely write reviews and I’ve taken the time to sit on this before doing so but very upset with the overall feeling and service I understand we all have off days, unfortunately this is first and last experience just based on the attitude of the waitress…it felt race based

My advice you’re better getting a Fanta and both got an upset...

Went here on a saturday night around 8pm without a booking. They accommodated us (4 persons) without a problem - initially in their outdoor seating area facing on to the high street (bit noisy from traffic and a chilly night but had outdoor heaters) but after 5 minutes when a table inside became free they moved us inside (without prompting) which was lovely and warm. Nice little Italian. Great service, and lovely food. Tasty good sized portions, and good value. If you're going to have starters, make sure you're hungry because with your main courses you'll be stuffed!!! The truffle tagliolini was lovely as were the chicken milanese and tagliatelle bolognese dishes. And the seafood linguine was a very large and filling portion!!

All in all a great evening. If we had a quibble (and it is a minor quibble) it was that the smoke alarm would go off every now and again but I'm sure that will...

What a fantastic find on Kingsland Road! Go for Lunch or dinner, you won't regret it.

Ambience/Location: 5/5 A modern and beautiful setting. The place is spacious yet intimate. Beautifully decorated. Lovely place for lunch or dinner, whether you want a fancy date or a casual family meal.

Service: 5/5 Very attentive. Fast and friendly.

Food: 5/5 Everything was delicious. I had the Sirloin with rosemary potatoes and parmesan. Perfectly cooked and tasty. My partner ordered the Quattro formaggi Pizza and he said it was excellent. The homemade tiramisu was divine. Ordered the kids meal for my little one (ordered the pizza) and it came with an Appetizer and ice cream, which was very nicely priced.

Price: 5/5 Well priced for the quality, quality and place.

An overall lovely experience and one we...

DALSTON ITALIAN GEM šŸ‡®šŸ‡¹āœØ šŸ“ Dalston, London āļø 5/5 šŸ’ø ££ šŸ“Discovered the cutest Italian spot in Dalston and I’m completely obsessed! @nameofrestaurant brings authentic Italian flavours with a cozy, homey vibe that feels like a little trattoria in Rome ā¤ļø We started with the Adriana Burrata—fresh burrata topped with balsamic glaze, #beetroot, radish, and rocket—so creamy it practically melted on the plate. The Antipasto Platter was another highlight, filled with Italian meats, olives, and warm bread. For mains, I had the vibrant Beetroot Gnocchi in a rich cheese sauce and the delicious Black Truffle #Tagliolini—both dishes were packed with flavour šŸ”„To finish, we went for the silky #Pannacotta with red fruit sauce and a perfectly gooey Chocolate Melted Cake 🤤If you’re in Dalston, this spot is a must-visit!

This is my favourite family run Italian restaurant! Warm atmosphere and welcome upon arrival. A menu with clear ingredients and specials on the board. Drinks were also really nice. I enjoyed the Raspberry and Mint Cooler and the Lavender Mocktail. The "grown ups" had amazing Porn Star Martinis! The Buratta to start with. This dish looked and tasted beautiful! The olive selection was also very yummy. It wasn't all pip... These were tasty meaty olives! The main was fresh pasta! The Pacceheri Tuscan Prawns. This dish was heaven! We also had the Rustica Meat Pizza. Soooo good! Mmmmmm! And finally, dessert was a Candied Orange Peel Canoli, Pistachio Truffle Ice Cream and Berry Compote Panna Cotta to end the perfect meal! Thank you to the staff for looking after our family. See you again soon.
