My first visit here since the new management took over. It’s a decent pub and has quite a few different beers on offer and a couple of ales. They also show all of the sport.
The main issue was the service. It was pretty quiet and myself and another customer waited ages to be served whilst two staff members were chatting away at the end of the bar. Worse still after they served the first person they tried to serve someone else who had just got to the bar ahead of me! Not having a handle on who is next at a quiet bar is unforgivable. The restaurant team and the waiting staff were extremely polite, eager to help and...

If you're feeling hungry, you can have a three meat roast for just over £15. Portions were good. Beef a little chewy. Cauliflower cheese could have done with being less al dente and finished off in the oven to brown it. You can eat a medium-rare and thick burger here and but the hand-cut chips didn't seem to be hand-cut...? Personal preference is skin on tbh. Service was pleasant and the Cornish Orchards cider...
