We first visited this place when it was Ballaro, before it changed to Ristorante Sorrento and it was great, so we decided to book again after the England/Australia game at Twickenham.
The food was still tip-top - my pizza was great and my wife enjoyed her veal. They were able to cater for my sister in law who is vegan.
The staff were a bit off though and kept forgetting things. They forgot our water, forgot my chilli oil that I had to ask for twice, forgot my wife's potatoes that was supposed to come with her meal (chef apologised) and then forgot to bring our bill when it was requested and then forgot for a second time when I was able to get the waitresses attention. They didn't ask if we wanted anything else (sauces/condiments) after they brought out our food.
In the end, we got up to leave so we could pay at the door on the way out and we asked for the service charge to be removed. Waitress seemed annoyed when I asked to have the bill divided so my brother in law and I could split the bill.

Read moreJust came across this amazing restaurant. Food was really good and delicious. service was 10/10 can not fault the waiter and waitress looking after us - they were very attentive and nothing was any bother. We had booked for 6:30 but arrived early at 5:30 they welcomed us in even though they didn’t open till 6 - we were very grateful as it was raining outside.
I came to the restaurant as I saw so many amazing reviews and amazing photos of the food served. At first I was worried that the food would not be lived up to the expectations shown in the photos. But I was very quickly proven wrong, the food exceeded my expectations.
Not only is the food amazing, but the food is served with the most amazing customer service that I have ever seen.
Thank you to Diellza and David for being amazing hosts, and making our evening so special. See you again on a...
Read moreMy girlfriend and I went were in Twickenham and we were looking to have a late lunch somewhere. We sat down at Sorrento's and weren't expecting much.
My expectations were low as I had never heard of Ristorante Sorrento and I have worked in hospitality for many years - managing restaurants and events. I was however pleasantly surprised though as the service was brilliant and food delicious!!
Roberta served us and she was very efficient and professional. All the food from the warm bread & succulent olives to the delicious seafood linguini and house wine was delicious plus very flavoursome. I will definitely return and my lips water for the dishes I am yet to try. The care and attention to flavour made Sorrento an essential dining venue for...
