Anyone doubt my review can check previous ones as I give credit where it’s due.

If I could give zero stars, I would. We ordered two biryanis and a prawn sizzler, and honestly I think the chef must’ve lost his taste buds somewhere in Soho. The biryani was so bland and lifeless, it could’ve passed for boiled rice with stage fright. Small portions too maybe they ran out of flavour halfway through cooking.

I even asked the waiter if the food was fresh, and he gave me a dramatic “Oh, we never serve stale food” speech, then vanished before our meal arrived. Smart man he must’ve known what was coming.

The prawn sizzler and chapatis my friend ordered didn’t help either the chapatis could double as coasters, and the sizzler didn’t sizzle. To top it off, the prices are as inflated as the restaurant’s claim of being “authentic Indian.”

Honestly, I could close my eyes and make a better biryani at home and I’m not even a chef. We quietly paid, left, and agreed never to return. Calling this place “Maharaja of India” is false advertising more like...

We had an absolutely wonderful experience dining at this Indian restaurant. From the moment we walked up, we were warmly welcomed by SUHAN, who was incredibly kind, respectful, and genuinely happy to help us. His hospitality truly stood out and made us feel right at home.

As a butter chicken enthusiast who has tried countless variations, I have to say — this one completely blew me away. The texture was incredibly rich, and the flavors were deep and satisfying. You could tell it was made with care.

We came in as a family of seven, including a very selective autistic child and a baby who’s just as particular. It’s not easy to find a place that pleases everyone, but somehow, they managed to impress all of us — even our pickiest eaters!

To top it off, when our phones ran out of battery, they were kind enough to charge them quickly for us. Every detail, from the service to the atmosphere, spoke of excellence. We left with full hearts and full stomachs. Highly...

I had an amazing experience at Maharaja! From the moment I walked in, the atmosphere was welcoming and comfortable, and everything only got better from there. The food was absolutely delicious fresh, flavourful, and beautifully presented.

What truly stood evening special. He was attentive without being intrusive, knew the menu inside and out, and made great recommendations that turned out to be perfect. On top of that, he’s kindness and genuine smile made us feel so well taken care of it’s rare to come across service that feels this thoughtful and personal.

I’ll definitely be coming back again soon, and I’ll be recommending Maharaja to friends and family. If you visit, I highly suggest asking for Shakil, he made our...

It was hard to find a late night place for dinner at 11pm and the restaurant that my Uber dropped me off at which was supposedly open 24 hours was actually closed. Thankfully, I walked down the street and stumbled upon Maharaja. It's a warm, cozy little spot that recently opened. The restaurant was very clean, the menu was extensive, and the staff were very friendly and attentive. They even helped me charge my dying phone. I ordered the garlic prawn starter and the tandoori chicken. The food tasted fresh & delicious. I'm not an expert on Indian/Pakistani cuisine, but if you want a legit late night dinner, go here!

Was excited for Indian food in London agai. Love indian food, and this was supposed to a upscale version of the cuisine... but sprinkling shredded cheese on top of naan and calling it a cheese naan is crazy and not upscale at all. Honestly would've did better finding a smaller mom and pop shop like I've done before. The meats and stews were good, portions smaller than expected, but over all just left me wanting more in the experience

This was hands down the best Indian food I’ve ever had in my life! I ordered the Ruby Chicken and it was absolutely delicious – rich, perfectly spiced, and full of flavor. The highlight wasn’t just the food though, it was the service. The owner, Alan, went above and beyond to make us feel right at home. If you’re in London and looking for authentic Indian cuisine, this is the place you cannot miss. Highly recommended!
