We went on Sunday evening at about 7:45. It all seemed fine when we came in. Sat down, went to wash our hands, but there was no soap in the men's washroom, no biggie, I could get some at the disabled toilet. Then we made our way to the buffet and it Looked like there is a lot of choice and seemed tasty. Damn, was I wrong.. Started with the soup that tasted of nothing. Then continued to battered dried chicken wings. Then they started clearing the buffet which made me think that they are closing. Apparently the place is closing at 10 so we still had time. I tried a couple of other dishes but no luck, everything was bland, dried out. Midway through my meal I felt an overwhelming bleach smell!! I looked to the corner and saw that the waitress has started moping the floor!! Anyway.. The Dessert was my favourite course. I was able to grab the last 4 cubes of watermelon (yaaaaaay). Was hoping to get some ice cream, but what do you know.. The ice cream machine was out of service. Finally when we where paying, I informed the manager about my experience and the reply that I got was: "you pay together??" That when I lost it! I asked about the bleach and was told that they don't use bleach on these premises. Then I asked why are they clearing the food at 8 when they close at 10. (Advertised closing time 11pm) he said that they always do that. When I mentioned the ice cream machine he said that it does actually work SOMETIMES. would never in my life come back here. Oh yeah! They did give us a 3 quid discount and said that they will give us 20% off our next visit. Um... Thank you..? I left wondering if he actually heard what...

I never leave negative reviews, usually just keep them to myself, but this one had to be given. We have visited yesterday and this was the worst chinese of our lives. The positive reviews are probably from those who have never been to a Chinese buffet before and so have nothing to compare it to, but the whole experience was awful. The food was definitely not tasty, luke warm, and very salty. Not much to choose from either. Very very limited choices. I have asked for tap water for the table and got a very cold look and ended not drinking it, because the jug was dirty, it had black dirt around the edges. When I was adding food to my plate the second time ( as its an all you can eat buffet), one of the waitresses kept looking at my plate and it felt very judgy. Dessert is basically non existent. Tasteless horrible coconut jelly and very very thin cheap Swiss roll. You have to pay before you eat which is probably why, cause the experience is so bad you feel horrible for wasting your money here. Also they clearly don't trust their customers. Usually you always pay after at chinese buffets. The food was so awful that we were actually worried if we will get food poisoning. The plates were not collected from our table, we had to sit and eat around dirty dishes, in other restaurants they collect your plates almost straight away. The toilets don't have a clear toilet sign, you have to guess if you are going to the right direction until you get there. Definitely will never go back and do not recommend to anyone. There are so many other options to eat at Camden, just go literally...

I was excited to try this place who doesn't love a all you can eat . The food was very bland all greasy and watery i did have a plate and i did eat it we was starving but i wouldnt choose to go again and would recomend this place . Hygiene could beassivly improved.i have to say the ladie with a short bob shouldn't be working their I explained my daughter didn't want to eat (really fussy eater ) well she scared my daughter with her rudeness by shouting at her if you eat you pay I Make you pay .. that was the start of it then my daughter wanted a prawn cracker to I paid for a plate for her to have a prawn cracker I'm mad I know . Anyhow when we went to be seated she tried to move 3 young men and they refused. she then shouted at a man and woman that was limited English they didn't understand telling them to move table they was trying to explain to her they was sitting with 2 others that was getting food she didn't take any time to listen to them I was embarrassed so I apologised to them as best as I could as she was moving them for me and my kids . Anyhow when you do get up to get your food all the food is by the front door so you have to pass throu a que of people waiting to come in it's all a tight squeeze to get anywhere let alone getting back to your seat that is a tiny bench pushed against another bench so you have no room for you or who ever is sitting behind you to sit properly it's all very uncomfortable.. its a big shame as its capable of being something good great location good size property it's just not what...

NOT AUTHENTIC CHINESE FOOD nor any recognizable regional chinese cooking. It’s an anglicized chinese-style food, which lamentably is so pervasive. I came in out of curiosity what the British adulterations are like of an otherwise great ancient cuisine. In addition to the usual fried egg rolls, there’s the awful deep fried foods 👎👎👎 like those one sees from fast food places…. Deep frying does NOT exist in authentic Chinese cooking. There’s a bit of choices of the chinese-style foods on offer. There are rices and noodles, but they all greasy👎👎👎 and plain, NOT recommended. Everything else are stir fries, all are surprisingly soy sauced foods…looks like a lack of imagination . HOWEVER. there are SOME notable ones that ACCEPTABLY PALATABLE. 1. The two prawn crackers are truly crispy. There’s a Vietnamese variety, which is the better one. 2. The aubergine (eggplant) in chili bean sauce is good. It’s mixed with black woodear mushrooms. NO, it has no hint of chili heat. 3. The duck stir fry, chunks of boneless duck with onions and bell peppers. 4. The prawns in its shell. Food is served in small buffet trays, rather than the common large troughs. Food is replenished with fresh cooked ones fairly quickly. It’s a pay-before-seating.

The quality of the food has gone down dramatically and the price has gone up to 12.90 per person. It is not worth it at all. I took my 3 children, 1 of which has sensory issues, so he doesn't eat anything they have. I explained this to the young lady who was reluctant to charge me for 3 of us ( probably under the assumption I was trying to pull a fast one) Then tried directing us to a table in direct view of their till - I personally think it was because they wanted to make sure one of my children didn't eat anything. When we got to the food it was dried out, having been left there for some time. The vermicelli noodles were unavailable and the dishes that were left, were not refilled whilst we were there,( over an hour). The prawns were overcooked and the poo track was left in, ( I've uploaded a pic of them) The only positive was that they finally gave the poor fish a decent home. They literally had water in the Tank before, now they have rookery and plants... fake ones but hey at least they have places to hide now. I honestly will never go back here. I was a customer for over ten years. If they continue to serve at this level, they will be out of business in a year. That would be best in my opinion.

I went there on Saturday the 26th for lunch for the first time. When we paid they do not tell you that you only have 1h or that you need to display the receipt on the table so they can control your time !! If i had this info ,i would never eat in there as dont like to be timed / rushed when having my meal! Only when we sat that we were told . The waitress on the 1st floor is extremely rude and discriminates costumers ! She was extremely rude when asking for receipt to be left on table despite no one informing us about the policy! We asked to seat at table of 4 in middle , she refused but later gave the table to some other random costumers . She gave us a table by the toilets instead! My colleague asked for a empty glass she rudely replied to go downstairs ! When he asked for it downstairs, they were suspicious if he paid for the drink ! (If they are that suspicious they should pay more attention to the costumers! ) Food quality is really poor, meat and fish choices are very little, terrible quality . Overall is terrible but they are lucky to catch unaware tourists!! I would never came back there for sure ! Horrible service !
