Ah-Mazing! I have experienced one of the best concerts of my life at the Roundhouse, not only due to the band being wonderful and proving great new wave retro vibes but also a great venue! Central, easy to find location, just next to the Camden market, if you arrive early simply have a stroll around the weird little shops!

I recommend getting to thw venue early to avoid the crowds - we arrived about 1h before the doors were supposed to open, left our coats and bags in the coatroom (paid! We paid for this almost the same as for one ticket!), got our tickets checked and chilled in the bar area for until we could go to the stage upstairs. No queues, no standing in the cold outside (November!), no problems with little available space in the coatroom.

The stage area itself is very atmospheric, creating a unique experience- see photos. No problems with safety althoughi eould recommend checking your pockets every so often and maybe even leave you phone inthe coatroom if worried (this is free of charge!). The sound travelled great, and because we arrive early we were able to be really close to the scene - truly unforgettable experience!

After the show there was a little bit of a queue to retrieve our coats and bags - about 30mins.

I will definitely be...

Absolutely Disgraceful Treatment by Staff

From start to finish, our experience at this establishment was appalling. Upon entry, some of our personal items were confiscated without any explanation, and we were bluntly told we would not be getting them back. We offered to take the items back to our car and return, which the staff had no issue with at the time. However, when we came back just a few minutes later, we were suddenly informed of a "no return" policy—something that was never mentioned to us before leaving.

To make matters worse, we were treated like criminals upon re-entry. A security guard loudly pointed us out, shouting, "There they are!" as if we had done something wrong. The manager then approached us, showed zero professionalism, and told us to leave immediately, offering no explanation or apology.

Adding insult to injury, they refused to refund us for our tickets, despite the fact that we were misled and unfairly removed. This level of customer service is unacceptable, and we will never be returning. I highly recommend avoiding this place unless you enjoy being treated with...

First visit to the Roundhouse. I can see why people like it. The setting & style is unique, & suited the gig, but I can also see why it works for stage works/theatre, etc. If you're sat in Level 2, be prepared for a slightly restricted view due to the pillars. The bars get busy at intervals, so plan ahead. The only small "down tick" is that after a performance, everyone is trying to get out through the one set of (wide) stairs and one entry/exit point. It got a congested when I was there, so if you're claustrophobic, maybe wait a little while before exiting.

Now been a second time to the Roundhouse & it's confirmed my view that this is a great venue. Sat in level 2 again, further round to the side than before. Sound quality & mix was excellent & the views were still very good even sat to the side. One little tip to avoid the queues waiting to enter is to get there early, & go into the bar on the right hand side. Have a drink (& some food if you like) and they will check your ticket in the bar & let you in from there rather than having to go out again & queue in the...

When we bought tickets online, there was a problem with issuing the actual tickets. I'm not upset with the issue itself, all companies have the odd tech hiccup. However, trying to resolve the problem was frustrating. There's no contact phone number on the website, Roundhouse's contact numbers listed on the local council websites both seem disconnected, and any attempt to reach out on social media points you to a very limited chatbot back on the website. I used the chatbot and had minimal contact back for about 4 or 5 days. This would have been fine if our event was booked far in the future but it was only a week after I tried to buy the tickets! More open communication on the website and social media to give reassurance and upfront damage control would have been appreciated here. Thankfully their box office team did follow up eventually, I'm sure they were inundated, and we got the tickets 2 days before the event. Once there, the venue itself is very cool, there's a bar on the ground floor, stage floor and in the stage area itself. We thoroughly enjoyed the event itself.
