McDonald's — Restaurant in London

Finally a mcdonalds we can walk into. Life on the road with a box van has its challenges and due to height restrictions at mcdonalds we have been unable to use mcdonalds drive through. However we were able to walk in today.... Well.... we attempted to then a lady ran across the restaurant and asked us to step outside untill asked to come in... OK fair enough strange times maybe she should have been at the door so that it wasn't as much of a scene. However when we were able to enter we were told we couldn't wash our hands... WHAT!!!

We were told that the toilets are not in use as its currently mcdonalds policy "We have hand sanitizer you can use. Our hands were filthy and needed to be rinsed after washing. Given that the goverment is encouraging us to wash our hands more at the moment Mr Mcdonald don't you think it would be a good idea to open your toilets? Disappointed, hungry and we still have...

Otherwise an average restaurant with fast and friendly service. Ok I was child sitting for a friend and brought the children here for some fillet meals. Ordered the meals and ice cream to eat in and went up to the counter to pick up the food. I was greeted by this young lady who eagerly shoved 6 ice cream cones in my face. I declined to accept, pointing out that it would melt in the heat before we got through our meals! She remained adamant insisting I had to collect the ice cream and was ready to make a scene until I called her supervisor who promptly binned the ice creams, apologised on behalf of her colleague and asked me to pop over when we were ready to pick up our fresh ice creams. Felt good to know some people still have common sense lol!!! She pressed on and spat...

Grit in Fries and Unhelpful Response from Manager. Last night (15/10/2024) around 9:30 pm, I purchased several meals from this McDonald’s. While eating the fries from my second meal, I noticed a gritty texture, as if I was biting into dirt or sand. Concerned, I reported it to the on-shift manager (a staff member with glasses). Unfortunately, he was neither friendly nor empathetic. Instead of addressing the issue, he simply stated that I was the first customer to complain. When I asked if there could have been any chance of dirt or grit coming into contact with the fries, he defensively replied that it might just be salt.

Overall, it was a disappointing experience, both in terms of the food quality and customer service. I hope this issue is addressed to ensure a better...
