Revisited 2024 and it's been such a good idea. This location has the following; Car park electric car charging -drive through -outdoor play area clean toilets polite staff wall blocking sight into kitchen plenty of chair and tables clean, bright self sauce station for ketchup and BBQ, tissue, sugar, salt and pepper easy to locate beside Sainsbury's Petrol station and car wash.

Colourful, clean and modern interior with bright space as the windows X2 sides of the wall. The staff are friendly and it seems this place is quite popular. The inside and outside of the store is cleaned regularly and is wheelchair accessible. Across the road from the retail park with its own car park. This store felt very new and modern but with the iconic Golden arches on top of the building. The ratio of the store for seating for both inside and outside is reasonable and does not feel squashed or tight. There is one counter and one screen so you are made aware of your order once your number pops on the screen ready to collected. The food came out hot and on a tray with enough napkins and sauce was given by the worker on that station.

This McD’s is open 24 hours and has a drive-through which is handy. However, thats where the good news end and the bad news begins! Where to start!? The men’s toilets are stuffy, humid and very smelly! The wrong sort of smell, if you know what I mean! The extraction fan is way too small and/or not working properly. If you go in just to wash your hands, you come out feeling dirtier than when you walked in! The service is slow, random and out of the last 5 times I went, 4 of those times they forgot something I ordered. The staff inside are rude and obviously cannot be bothered with such a boring, tedious job! The drive-through staff are much better it has to be said, very friendly, helpful and polite, but it’s 50/50 if they are going to get your order right first time! You definitely have to check you received what you paid for before you drive away. The drive through is the only reason they got 2 stars instead of none or one! The other thing and most upsetting is that there are ALWAYS beggars either sitting on the small kerb by on the drive-through or in the store doing their rounds while you sit to eat. The management and staff don’t seem to be bothered by this even though sometimes they can be drunk and abusive! I went here yesterday and i didnt have a great experience.I ordered the food from the app with my friend and did click and serve whilst we were waiting in the car.The woman came with the food and said “its unfair but here you go “ and we just said “thank you” because we didnt know what she meant by its unfair.I wanted to order again because i wasnt full but the way that woman sounded got me uncomfortable so i wasnt sure if i should order but i still ordered because i thought it might be a different person this time.I ordered and the food came and the woman hit the food on the window with attitude and said “enjoy but next time order…”i couldnt even here what she said because she had an attitude and she just walked away without finishing her sentence.I was so confused because we didnt even do anything and she just had an attitude its not my fault click and serve is an option .
