I recently had the unfortunate experience of dining here. Their food was average. There wasn't one dish that was super yummy or bad. What is worth mentioning is their service...

The dissatisfaction began when we tried to confirm a "20% off in September" offer advertised on their Instagram. We were met with resistance and a dismissive attitude. The lady first claimed that the discount applies to online booking only, which we did a few days ahead. I showed her the Instagram post on my phone, and she took it to show her manager. This was a bizarre gesture. The manager also showed resistance. This blatant attempt to refuse the discount left a sour taste in my mouth even before the meal began. They eventually agreed to it.

As if that wasn't bad enough, the lobster we got was very small with little meat. We mentioned this to the manager, and he did apologise but also said there was nothing much he could do as we didn't bring it up earlier. We explained that we didn't notice at first until we saw what other tables were getting. We have already paid the bill at the point so we weren’t asking for further discounts.

My friends and I couldn't help but feel like we received smaller portions due to redeeming a discount (that was advertised by the restaurant). Despite the reasonable prices for Central London, this experience left a negative impression and somewhat ruined our Mid-Autumn Festival meal. In my past experiences, I have had much better dining experiences...

I recently had the pleasure of dining at Meeting Noodles, a Chinese restaurant that left a lasting impression on me. From start to finish, the experience was nothing short of exceptional.

The standout dish for me was undoubtedly the lobster noodles. The delicate flavor of the lobster paired perfectly with the hearty noodles, creating a dish that was both satisfying and indulgent. The noodles were cooked to perfection and seasoned just right, and the generous amount of lobster provided the perfect amount of protein.

In addition to the lobster noodles, I also tried the eggplant and tofu dishes. The eggplant was cooked to perfection and had a wonderful flavor that left me wanting more. The tofu was also exceptional, with a light and delicate texture that was perfectly complemented by the sauce.

What I loved most about the food at Meeting Noodles was how light and healthy it was. The dishes were packed with flavor, yet I never felt weighed down or heavy after eating. It was clear that the restaurant prioritizes using fresh, high-quality ingredients to create dishes that are both delicious and nutritious.

Overall, I highly recommend Meeting Noodles to anyone looking for a fantastic Chinese dining experience. The lobster noodles are a must-try, but you really can't go wrong with anything on the menu. The food is exceptional, the atmosphere is welcoming and comfortable, and the service is top-notch. I can't...

I’ve been to Meeting Noodles twice now and both times, I have never been let down! You might think that at first look, the restaurant seems tiny and cramped but it really isn’t; it’s spacious inside with plenty of tables for all kinds of groups. The atmosphere is never too cramped or rushed, so you can easily feel relaxed. (Bonus: the bathroom is always kept clean!)

The servers are always friendly and chatty, I’ve seen them efficiently accommodate from one to two people to larger groups (from those celebrating birthdays or those who had just popped in for a bite after some partying). During both visits, there were only two or three servers but it never seemed like they had a hard time catering to their customers. Although I love Chinatown, the servers in any restaurant there were always frantically rushing about so this was a nice contrast.

To me: the best highlights of the menu are the deep fried oysters and the hot and sour soup. If you like oysters, you’ll love these. If you don’t, you’ll STILL enjoy these! We also ordered har gao, egg & veggie fried rice, 1/4 roast duck and stir fry morning glory, they were all really delicious. The price per person was about Ā£20-30 which I think is pretty good for the amount we ordered.

I can’t wait to come back with a larger group next time, maybe we’ll try out the karaoke that’s available in the restaurant šŸ˜‚ I can’t recommend this...

If you work nearby then this place is a good choice for a casual team lunch. The food is cooked well and got range that can cater to many taste buds. The highlight in my opinion are the hand pulled noodles. Not many places serve this dish, and even fewer do it as well as these guys. We ordered the beef brisket spicy noodles and it was great. Sadly the day we visited there were only 2 hand pulled noodles options that we could choose from, instead of the usual 7. Also their typhoon beef fried rice was amazing too. I never had that kind of fried rice before but we were glad that we ordered it. We also ordered the pork buns, Kung pao chicken and double cooked pork belly. These buns and pork items were tasty but is just like what we have eaten anywhere else. Kung pao chicken though good, felt more like sweet and sour chicken. It lacked the peanuts and chillis that are typically there in the traditional Kung pao chicken. I would recommend not ordering this one. The staff were really attentive and loved to chat which is different from other Chinese restaurants we have been to. A small nitpick I have to bring up is that when I ordered the Guinness, I was given a pint bottle instead of the 440ml option that I ordered, which is what was seen on the menu. I didn't bring it up as it could be a printing error and didn't want to muddy an otherwise pleasant experience.
