Baristas looked like they didn't want to be there, not friendly. It's weird that they seemed very reluctant to give us the WiFi password. My friends ordered their tumeric lattes and they were the worst we've ever had. It's the first time that none of them finished their drinks. They were that bad. I had the Chai latte with coconut milk which was rather nice. The worst thing about this cafe was when I went into the toilet. I saw a rat in it and informed the barista about it. He seemed surprised and did not do anything about it. Shocking. It's a shame as they made the cafe look very nice. I have serious doubts and concerns about their food and drink qualities judging by how careless their baristas were. I'll never come back again. Don't recommend it.

Great Experience at Mint Restaurant I recently visited Mint restaurant, and it was a fantastic experience. The food quality was excellent—fresh, delicious, and perfectly balanced in flavor. The place itself is elegant, very clean, and has a cozy atmosphere that makes it perfect for any occasion. Another great advantage is its location, close to South Acton station, making it easy to reach. The staff were extremely polite and professional, providing fast and attentive service. I also tried their coffee, which had a rich and high-quality taste, and the Grilled Norfolk Chicken, which was absolutely amazing! I will definitely visit again and highly recommend it to anyone looking for a top-quality dining experience.

Just happened to walk by Mint with my daughter on our stroll to the park. Very pleasantly surprised - a nice coffee shop has been much anticipated! We were really happy with the service. Staff were super friendly and explained they’re still yet to complete their kitchen - hence food options were currently limited - so we’re excited to visit again soon after they open their kitchen (later this year?) otherwise we’ll just pop in for a coffee. Loved the cool ambience. Will be back again soon. Oh and thanks for kindly giving my daughter an apple for free (even though you only stock them for juices) - was a lovely gesture and made her very happy :)

Absolute liars with horrible and confrontational staff.

Their response to my review is a load of nonsense in an attempt to save face rather than accept their issues.

We went to a cafe and ordered a pastry to start with whilst we sorted some urgent business on our laptops before we had lunch (which was our initial intention). We had a chat and were interrupted twice being asked to order something in the space of about 30 minutes. I wanted to order a pan au chocolat but there were none and a juice but unfortunately not everyone can afford to spend £6 on an orange juice...

The staff were rude, immature, and unprofessional with horrible attitudes who didn't greet customers. Half of the items on the menu were not available and overpriced.

Horrible vibe throughout and hostile staff (far from professional as they claim) basically kicking us out and saying its policy without expanding further on what the minimum order was - even when they were by no means busy at all and we were the only ones in the area outside until 1 other couple joined...

Left a review and they came back with absolute fabrication and gaslighting detailed below. I would love to know what they view as inappropriate language as we were at most confused and defensive as we did indeed order items and contribute to their business...

Toxic place. Criminal pricing and horrible staff to go alongside.

Their local community is not the upper class demographic that they may be trying to target with their prices and policies on minimum orders but rather regular working class people who don't expect to be harassed into ordering a £6 orange juice. Money grabers - good luck to them...

AVOID

Dear Annie&Tom Wedding, Thank you for taking the time to leave a review. We're genuinely sorry to hear your feedback, but we’d like to clarify a few points for accuracy. All of our juices—including the orange juice—are freshly squeezed on-site in full view of our customers. We do not use juice from cartons and take great pride in the quality of what we serve. During your visit, no order was placed, and unfortunately, the interaction became uncomfortable due to inappropriate language directed at our staff. We have clear house policies, including a minimum order requirement during busy times, to ensure a fair and enjoyable experience for all guests. Using a café’s space and resources without making a purchase makes it difficult for small businesses like ours to continue serving the community. We’re proud of our team for handling the situation professionally and respectfully. We welcome all guests who come to enjoy what we offer and hope future visits are more in line with the spirit...

I came here with one friend of mine during A level exam season and our first impressions of the place was that it looked really modern and comforting. Upon arrival, I ordered an iced latte and my friend also ordered a coffee. The staff member was really nice and polite when taking our order and payment but when we sat down and plugged in our electronic devices we were told by the owner/manager that we could not study here if we ordered just one coffee. I tried to reconcile with the manager by suggesting that we ordered more after an hour or two but my friend felt very disrespected and uncomfortable since we’d be spending essentially £10 each for the liberty of staying there for 2 hours. She refused and asked me if we could go to Starbucks instead. This experience really ruined our day and it made no sense because the cafe was COMPLETELY empty. Only 2 customers were seated inside the cafe and if anything, I like to call myself a supporter of small businesses but it’s hard to do that when they act so greedily for money. We were both 18 year olds who were only looking for a quiet local study spot and I thought the idea of the owner taking advantage of us by trying to get us to spend more for only staying for a couple hours is just disgusting to be honest. You can tell that this had quite an impact on me because it is now October and I have remembered this awful experience, leading me to write this review. If you are that young male barista who quickly ran to the sainsbury’s to get some ice for my iced latte, this isn’t targeted towards you. Thank you for being so kind. I’m pretty sure this is a family run business and if the owner is reading this, if you care about your profit margins do not treat your customers with such hostility and try to force young students to over spend for staying for a couple of hours. This was unprofessional of you and as a local resident, I will discourage other locals from visiting your cafe due to the treatment I received from you. I recommend being a lot nicer to your customers if you want them to spend more and as long as they’ve spent a reasonable amount of money, they should be able to spend as long as they want in your cafe. Take this review as feedback, rather than just a plain old...

Absolutely TERRIBLE service! Whilst this cafe is aesthetically appealing, and the coffee and food is mediocre, the service is unequivocally APPALLING! I took my family here for a weekend treat, whilst being in the local park for the afternoon. The man who served us (also the manager/business owner) was nothing but rude. He appears to have a real hatred for children, constantly huffing and puffing at the children. Rude comments about how they were sitting and how loud they were speaking. There were pretty burnt out from being in the park for hours, so were not loud at all, and just eager to have a refreshing drink and a bit to eat. But the manager made us feel so uncomfortable we left soon after receiving our order, and wasn’t able to even finish our drinks entirely. My husband even noticed him giving our youngest such a disgusting look for sneezing. Upon paying, he even had the audacity to advise us to come without our kids next time. I have since spoken to other parents that frequently use the local park about my experience. And have heard horror stories after horror stories, of him screaming ar kids, taking footballs if they accidentally land near his cafe, and even refusing to serve a mother that had three kids, because her kids were annoying! I’m unsure why someone would operate a cafe overlooking a park with a playground when they very clearly have a dislike for children! Hands down the worst cafe I have...
