Went there a couple days ago with my sister i have been going here for over 7 years. Ordered what we usually do and was really disappointed my sisters food was very dry no sauce and my sweet soar chicken which I normally love wasn’t the same did not taste nice the chicken didn’t taste fresh. Adding to this the cups were dirty i asked for a replacement and the replacement was the same (not clean) When bill was given to us I mentioned I wasn’t really happy and so wasn’t my sister as i had no more then 2 mouth fulls both our plates were still full!. It was ignored by the waiter. We was expected to pay full price for a food we didn’t even eat. While waiting to pay the so called OWNER who i have never seen before was very intimidating and rude came up to me and my sister and was asking whats the problem with the sauce i over herd you say the sauce was different we always make the same sauce. Which was not what my sister even said. His attitude towards up was really intimidating and arrogant. For someone whos a owner you would expect he had customer service skills his attitude is appalling. We explained what we was not happy with and that he came across like he wanted to fight us instead of understand what we was saying. He told us both to “do what ever we want” such a great owner. We paid and wont ever be returning.! Don’t recommend as if u aint happy with anything you get attitude and a rude owner who’s arrogant and intimidating coming at u. Poor customer service. Felt shocked even after how many days with his attitude to...
Read moreI decided to visit Miso Noodle Bar in Bromley and try the seafood noodle soup. The portion itself was large, with a choice of rice or buckwheat noodles. However, I was seated at a very small table in the corner, where it was difficult to even get the waiter’s attention. I constantly had to lean out and wave to call someone, while the staff seemed busy with receipts or paperwork. Nobody came to check if everything was okay, and there were no sauces on the table.
The soup itself was quite bland — it felt like seafood simply poured over with water or a very weak broth, with no real flavour at all. Asian food should be about taste and flavour, but here it was completely missing. I asked for sauces like lime, sriracha, or hoisin, and each time it felt like a problem for them. They don’t usually serve any sauces, which makes no sense for this type of cuisine. Also there haven't been any salt or pepper on the table as well.
I really wanted to like this place and even thought of bringing my mum here, but now not sure after my experience. The staff were inattentive, never asked if I was okay, and in the end they still expected a tip. I reluctantly left 7.5% the smallest they had, but I honestly didn’t understand what I was tipping for - not a good service with no flavour food. Each time I asked for something, it felt like they were doing me a favour.
Overall, the experience was disappointing: bland food, inattentive service, and unnecessary pressure for tips in the end. Very...
Read moreVery extortionate prices for small portions, would not recommend. Was given a big plate with small amounts of food (which included barely any meat). It all felt stale from the rice which wasn't fluffy to the meat which didn't have a distinct taste or texture (all of which you'd mostly expect from an authentic 'Asian' restaurant). The service was alright, nothing too out of the norm. The atmosphere was also as expected, average. Strangely there were people there who didn't don any staff clothing who also worked there, most likely owners or investors. It all felt a bit odd, with someone who looks like a customer coming up to any onlookers and saying that 'this is good' or 'you should try this' without introducing themselves, and before you know it you just ordered your meal and see the person walking around the restaurant and managing it. Final verdict, go to Wetherspoons, they serve a good Chicken Katsu Curry for...
