Having been a customer since the restaurant first opened, Havet has always been our go to for gatherings, lunches and cocktails.

Only last week when we visited for lunch, I spoke with the owner about my medical issues resulting eating very small amounts due to stomach disability. HE advised that when we next visit for me to order from the kids menu as it will be better size wise for me, I explained that I didn't want to offend by doing this and he advised it was absolutely fine to do so whenever we visit.

Fast forward to today when 4 of us arrived for our 1pm booking, the waitress approached our Table and took drink orders and gave us the menus. I asked for a children's menu and was told outright NO as they do not offer that to adults. I explained that the owner was the one to inform me to do so and she just refused. I asked if he was available as he was the one that recommended it. He wasn't available however another manager came over who was just as ignorant as the waitress informing me that " they know nothing about it". By this point I'm embarrassed as they have made an issue due to a medical problem, people are looking over as the team are all talking amongst themselves and our group were disgusting in the turn of events.

We decided we were going to leave immediately and go elsewhere, as my brother went to leave the restaurant the manager confronted him to pay for the drinks that had not been drank as this happened immediately. He advised that we would not be paying for them as we've not had them and the service was awful.

When Havet first opened the customer service was outstanding however as time has gone on it seems to be extremely poor.

Considering I explained my medical condition to the team again today it was totally disregarded which is appalling especially being it is a medical condition.

Never again will we ever be...

I have grown up with 2 of the owners but never made it to the restaurant until tonight to celebrate my 40th birthday after almost not seeing it due to such a severe illness I almost passed away. So imagine my surprise when one of the owners was at Havet tonight!! I was thrilled to see him, the staff are amazing and helped out us novice diners that had no clue about half the menu. 10 of us were in my party and all had different needs. After a bit a trouble ordering management explained what was on the menu, and everything was absolutely delicious. So much food for a party of 10 the girls ended up with filled doggy bags to take home. I will certainly be making Havet my new favourite place to dine, I tasted food I have never had before and it was epic. I will be telling ALL my friends about it and make sure there are further celebrations had here. Thank you so much Havet staff, you made my birthday even more special. 😁

I have read quite a few reviews and ok not all like the food. But to complain about noise and people celebrating Birthdays and prices and not being able to bring in food from McDonalds..... you need your head read! People come to eat and have a good time. We experienced nothing but helpful staff wanting to make sure we enjoyed ourselves. There are some very petty people who have dined here and left untruthful feedback. Maybe they should stick to McDonald's and pizza hut. Also there is veggie options, my sister is vegan and has no problem with the menu. I wouldn't personally pay any attention to 1 star feedback, book your table and make your own mind up. On Friday night and weekends I'd make sure to book as the line was out of the door when we left...

I have visited Havet a few times and while the culinary offerings often impress, the service and staff unfortunately fall short of expectations.

To begin with the positive aspects, the "Köfte" exceeded my expectations with its delicious and well-balanced flavors. The Chicken Shish was also a highlight, being both soft and delicious. The Seasonal Salad complemented the meal perfectly with its well-balanced flavors. Unfortunately, the Adana Kebap was merely average and did not particularly stand out.

However, the experience was marred by significant issues with the service. The most glaring problem was the coke. We were not informed that it was dispensed from a tap, resulting in a beverage that tasted like watered-down sugar. Upon informing the waiter that we would not be drinking it, no effort was made to address our concern. Ideally, the staff should have inquired about the issue, especially considering the untouched glasses. While an inexperienced waiter might be forgiven, the lack of attention from the bar staff is inexcusable. To add insult to injury, the two untouched glasses of coke were still included in the bill.

Furthermore, there were unnecessary delays when it came time to settle the bill. Despite the restaurant not being particularly busy, we were left waiting for the bill and card machine, which indicated a clear lack of attentiveness from the staff.

In conclusion, Havet offers some commendable dishes, but the overall dining experience is significantly hindered by poor service and inattentive staff. Improvements in these areas are essential for the restaurant to reach its...

Updated review in February 2024: Havet “was” my favorite restaurant, but that’s no longer the case. Long story short, I went there with my friends and discovered hairs in our food—ranging from 1 to 2 inches in length. When I spoke to the staff about it, he went to “investigate” and returned with a hair that was 8 to 10 inches long, claiming that’s what he pulled out and insisting that no one in the kitchen had long hair. We were left speechless, especially since we had taken pictures of the hairs in our food. I found his explanation very dishonest, which has completely turned me off from returning. I do not recommend this restaurant. In summary, the food is decent if you don't mind occasionally finding hair in it; if that's not a problem for you, then go ahead and try it. However, I found the atmosphere to be quite noisy, as we often had to raise our voices to hear each other. Five years ago (in 2019), I must say that Havet is one of my favorite restaurants! They prioritize the quality of both food and drinks, and their customer service is top-notch. You always feel welcomed as soon as you step inside, and the staff even remembers our favorite dishes and drinks, which is impressive considering I'm not a regular customer; we visit roughly six times every three months. I also love the birthday song! It’s a wonderful experience when everyone joins in to celebrate the birthday boy or girl. Overall, great vibe, offers amazing food, provides best-in-class customer service, and delivers exceptional value. I highly recommend it!
