Completely stumbled upon Franco Manca by accident this afternoon. Had travelled to the Glades Shopping Centre with our young girls and it hit prime lunch time. The girls were hungry! The inside cafes and outlets were rammed but just outside the Glades we found Franco Manca and as we are all keen pizza eaters we headed straight in. Matteo quickly welcomed us and had us seated with menus (and kids activities) and the specials explained. The children's menu was very decent and our two were delighted with their pizzas, drink and desserts for £9. It was nice to see four very different pizza options on the children's menu. The adult pizzas, as you would expect with Franco Mancas, were varied and interesting with lots to choose from. We both settled on two different pizzas, a chorizo pizza and a vegetarian special we but could easily have chosen others. We'll have to come back for more on the special £5 adult pizza vouchers that Matteo gave us for January only. You can't beat a proper hand made pizza like this and what was even more pleasing was the amazing price. An excellent sized, beautiful sour dough pizza for just over a tenner. That beats a huge array of their competitors including a very well known household name that we also happen to visit on a regular basis. Next time we visit, it will be a planned trip as we definitely intend to return. Matteo gave us excellent service and the food was top notch. Win win!

Ordered Bundle 1 for two pizzas from Deliveroo, and upgraded one to a gluten free base. Upon delivery, neither box was marked as gluten free, and called to confirm with the restaurant that the wrong pizza had been delivered. Neither the restaurant nor Deliveroo agreed to refund the cost of the pizza as part of the bundle deal, rather were only willing to refund the £2.35 gluten free base upgrade. No effort from the restaurant to make things right by sending out the correct pizza, and also unwilling to refund the cost of the pizza as part of the bundle deal despite this being inedible due to a gluten intolerance. Extremely poor customer service, and would have been hazardous had we not spotted the error at time of delivery.

4th july 2025, second time ordering on deliveroo. The food arrived about 1 hour 5 mins after ordering and it was cold. The 'garlic' bread had no taste of garlic whatsoever and a horrible sprinkling of dried herbs. Had to heat pizza in oven, but base was soggy, and toppings were not very good. I was very hungry, so I ate what little was edible but still hungry afterwards. I had to order a refund again. Previous order: - Never got our order on deliveroo! : ( About 1 hour 20 mins went by, and it said out for delivery, but never arrived. Had to get a refund. Not sure who's fault it was, but we were so hungry and had to order from somewhere else. A real shame as my daughter wanted to treat me to a pizza : (

Visited F M Bromley for the first time on a quiet Monday evening in August when it's reasonable to expect the restaurant ought to be at its best. I regret to report that it really wasn't. The pizzas looked like they had the potential to be excellent but the consensus amongst all 10 diners was that they were rather disappointing to say the least. Served lukewarm not hot and undercooked wasn't the best start. I've eaten at both the East Dulwich and Brixton locations on many occasions and Bromley's pizza offer just doesn't compare at all. Flavours are there but the pizza base was doughy and undercooked when cut into. (Not helped by knives that are so blunt they wouldn't cut butter!). Had I been with a smaller group of diners, I wouldn't have hesitated to send the whole lot back.

The saving grace was the service from our lovely waiter. Kind, welcoming, informal and accommodating. We were there for a birthday and he really helped make the celebration special. A manager was in evidence but she didn't see fit to engage with us other than to bid us goodbye as we left.

The single unisex (and disabled) toilet was dirty and unpleasant to use despite the restaurant not being busy. No excuse, really.

Given the considerable competition for custom on the doorstep of this branch of Franco Manca, the quality of food on offer at this location ought to be a lot better.

Verdict: Falls far short of Franco Manca's usual high standard in terms of food quality. Service saved the day. I've had better pizza from the Co-op than some of what was presented to us by Franco Manca, Bromley. Very...

I visited at 6:30 on a Saturday. The restaurant was half full so we thought we'd be served pretty swiftly and TBH our order was taken quite quickly. We ordered the meat platter to share to start and a pizza each for our main with a dip each. Our waiter was a lovely young guy seemed fairly new but very pleasant, smiled and took our order accurately. My issue was due to the wait for our food. I understand that everything is made to order but we waited almost 1/2 hour for our cold starter. We were then asked if we wanted plates? In my opinion I would have expected to be brought a plate each particularly as we'd said we were sharing. We then waited another 1/2 hour for our pizzas. When they arrived, they were hot and fresh but after a few minutes we had to ask for our dips as these were forgotten. By the time we were finished we'd been there just over 1.5 hours for 2 pizzas a drink each and a cold starter. Don't get me wrong the food was nice but i've eaten equally nice pizzas elsewhere. I thought the delivery of the service or rather the attention to detail was a bit lack lustre. I'm only posting in the hope of you improving. I will return because i'm hoping this was a one off and hope to be able to...
